Replacing all apple prod.s with samsung. This device has stunning display, and the memory Expandability is awsome. Love the preloaded apps, they do about 85% of what I need. A very pleased customer.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, desktop layout, app bundle, cup speed, keyboard layout/feel

Great tablet, but crippled

For whatever reason, you cannot write to the micro SD card. Apparently this is the result of the most recent android upgrade. Frankly, had I known that I don't know if I would have bought this tablet. A shame, because it is an extremely nice device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, unable to write to microsd card., full user manuals not available online
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had an I pad for years (and still do) which is actually a good product, but like the Iphone, it just kind of sits there. When I go for a pad it's always the Galaxy 12.2 now. I love the features and the way it interacts with my Galaxy S5 and all their apps, like sisters. The screen resolution is excellent and performance is outstanding, never a hesitation. Battery life is superb and lasts all day even when I'm playing games and watching movies. I think it would take pages and pages to say all the good things it has. If you like the Galaxy phones you will love the Galaxy Tab 12.2 as much. It just brings everything to life in a bigger format. At first I was worried about not being able to get cellular service on it (only Wi-Fi) like the Ipad does, but now that I have tethering off my Galaxy S5 I can use it everywhere and anywhere. This product is amazing and I highly recommend it.

This the best tablet I have ever had.I would recommend this product to all my friends and family.If you would to get one and test it out for yourself.I can see much better with this tablet than my ipad.I can read more better then I could on my ipad.

Best Tablet

This has been the best tablet I own. The size for me is perfect. I can see everything and hit everything with my big fingers. I had a 10.1 before and found it a little small. I also own a 8" tablet that I only read on.
The screen on this tablet looks great. The colors are vivid. I also watch TWIT TV, Netflix on this with no problems. I keep it next to me when watching TV and play a game or two.
I'm very happy with this Samsung tablet. If you thinking about getting one don't wait get one now.

Big and beautiful

After having the galaxy s 10.5 I decided to get this one for me personally and could not be happier. It's not an amoled display but it is still vibrant and incredible. The Octa processor adhesion does not disappoint and because it is 12.2 with the extra real estate you can run 4 apps at the same time with no problem. I have dish or Netflix running while I use a word processor with internet and chrome running simultaneously. And this is the only tablet that I could easily print from without having to have a ton of apps. Even though it's 12.2 you won't believe how light it is. And the battery last a good amount of time and you can use the ultra battery saving mode and really get time out of it. On all the galaxy tablets the rear camera is amazing the pictures are so crisp. The last thing the price.......,, for what the capabilities are you cannot get any better.

First a general word of caution to prospective buyers of tablets: there are fundamental differences between Android OS tablets vs Windows/Apple OS laptop/notebooks. Comparing specs for these devices with similar screen sizes can be misleading. Analyze your expected needs thoroughly before making a selection or you may be come frustrated & unhappy with the device.
Pros for Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2:
1. As good as it gets for a tablet - no better tablet is currently available
2. High resolution, bright, large screen - great for watching movies, videos & viewing photos
3. Fast boot & operation
4. Thin & light weight
5. Lots of battery power
6. Lower price than equivalent size laptop

Cons for Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2
1. On screen keyboard is a poor substitute for a physical keyboard. Separate keyboards are available-but at increase size & weight, ultimately defeating the convenience of a tablet.
2. This device's Bluetooth only supports one WIRELESS headset, preventing 2 people from using headphones for watching movies or listening to music during travel. Note that wired adapters are available allowing 2 WIRED headphones to use the single jack on the tablet.
3. Only access available to the internet is via Wi-Fi. This restriction often has been inconvenient. Many times my smart cell phone (i.e. Galaxy S4) has been more useful than the tablet because no Wi-Fi has been available while travelling. Buyer should evaluate if 4G & Wi-Fi needs are a high priority.
4. Primitive file management software of Android OS limits user's ability to access documents, music, & photos on internal or external SD memory card. Document editing is inconvenient (e.g. no copy/paste). A more serious limitation imposed by Android OS 4.4.2 prevents files on external SD memory card from being accessed, viewed & revised. ES3 File Explorer App, or equivalent, is essential for a serious user.
5. I am unable to find a way to keep a log of date, name, version & size of all software updates & downloads.
6. Even though Samsung's introduction of Hancom Office Suite software, as a substitute for MS Windows Office, has significantly improved document creation capability on the tablet, it is slow & cumbersome to produce even a small document. For users of MS Word, Excel, & Powerpoint, it is far easier & faster to compose a document on a computer & transfer it to the tablet.
7. I often encounter website that are incompatible with the Android OS. Even with an App for the specific website often only partial information at the site can be accessed. To gain access to the full website, I must use my computer. In addition, some popular software is not supported by Android OS (e.g. Adobe Flash) preventing popup videos & illustrations from being viewed.
8. Bottom line: A tablet is no substitute for a laptop computer.

I just received my tablet today, and I have to say this is the best tablet I have had. It's light weight and with a beautiful display. This Tablet is worth every penny. I'm always traveling and this device has all the feature I need to do my job.
