I got this tablet mainly to be able to do homework on something portable with a bigger screen. I chose this one because the ability to have two items on the screen at once. I thought about getting the surface 3 but I wanted the ability to be able to play games. I figured since I was getting this tablet, I wouldn't be able to type word documents or powerpoints. WRONG! This tablet has Hancom office which has worked perfect with Microsoft. It has opened every file I needed and I have been able to type documents in Hancome and then converts over to Microsoft on my computer. This tablet has everything I need and the big screen and just add a keyboard. I absolutely love it!
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight

Big is Surprisingly Badass

Samsung continues to surprise me. Just when I think they've pushed tablets too far (12.2" really?) I find that they haven't - that it actually fits comfortably into a niche I hadn't previously thought of. In this case, I've been using my Note Pro 12.2" for Netflix bingeing (best binge screen ever), book reading (duh!) and all the other typical tablet stuff but here's the really cool part - I'm also using it as a second monitor for at home work. There are any number of apps out there (mine's Air Display) that use home wifi to connect your laptop to your tablet. I've tried it before but the standard tablet size just wasn't quite big enough - especially with the slight mouse lag (that's still an issue - not Samsung's fault). But with more real estate, it now makes sense. I can park lots of dialogue boxes and apps on the Note and be more productive.
In terms of overall features, this latest iteration is better than the last. Multi-window is more sophisticated and easier to use (it also lets you create pop up windows from the apps list in the multi window bar - an iteration of a dropped feature from the Note 2 that they removed from the Note 3). I could go on but the bottom line is - well done, Samsung. I like being surprised. There's too little of that going on in the mobile field today.

For me this is the best tablet on the market by far. I've had iPads, Tab 10.1s, and Note 8". I use this for work and leisure. The features are great. Having the expanded memory capabilities, and being able to import data via a flash drive makes the Note Pro worth the money. Hancom productivity suite is great, coupled with ever note makes this a winner! Buy it you won't be sorry.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: a little heavy

I am a Realtor and I use this mainly for work. I had an IPAD but gave it to my husband to use at his leisure after it was stolen. I would not trade this for anything. I have hancom and it works great. I can do multiple things with it. I had originally bought the 10.1 2014 edition and took it back the next day (didn't open it) and got the note pro 12.2. I was originally on the fence but after they dropped the price $50 I got it. It was expensive since I got the logitech keyboard to go with it (sold separately $130) Even with all of that, I wouldn't trade it. I can do my contracts, keep track of spending and use the MLS just like a laptop. I have no problems with it. I am still learning new things to do with this everyday.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: price, wireless keyboard expensive

I absolutely love my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2! I have been waiting for a tablet that I could use to properly read pdf files without having to zoom in to read or see the smaller details. Comics look fantastic too, as well as watching movies. A lot of people are complaining that it is too big, but for me it is just the right size. I love the multitasking you get to do with the multiple window feature, but some aspects of it are still buggy and I hope they fix these few clinks soon (if you don't use the native Samsung keyboard like SwiftKey for example, the keyboard is untappable when it goes past the boundary of whichever app you are typing on). Will you be able to get work done on this baby? I think yes as long as you have the willpower to fend off the urge to just stream media on it. The pen is awesome and I like the fact that it has palm rejection, I need to try other apps beside sketchbook pro though. All in all an awesome device. I love it!

Cons: software clinks

But it is great for so much more. I'm actually addicted to my tablet. Has replaced my pc for most daily functions. The design feels comfortable to me. The back texture provides a good sense of grip. And of course the Wacom digitizer and S-pen were great motivators in my purchase. I was not disappointed.

Cons: s-pen nibs are very small.

I always liked the quality of Samsung products with their advanced technology and the beautiful clarity of pictures. My Samsung Galaxy Note Pro with its accessories is like having my tablet, lap top & communication of information with my cell phone all in one. I love it!
