Perfect Bridge between a laptop and tablet - Samsung Note 12.2 Is It!

Background: I loved my Android ASUS TF700 tablet; it came with a keyboard and its 10 inch screen was small but big enough. Yet with only 1g memory and a few other related issues, it often lagged and even choked altogether at times.
Samsung: So I went on the hunt for a better Android tablet. Samsung's 3 g of memory was the first thing that caught my eye. The lack of an attachable keyboard was a minus, though. So I kept looking. Reading about the Samsung's keyboard (blue tooth) and the Logitiech model as well, I realized I could probably be happy w/ that sort of setup. Samsung's inclusion of a micro-sd slot was key as well; I'd bought a 128g Samsung micro-sd for the Asus, and it had all my e-books on it.
I debated over the 10 vs 12 inch screens... and gingerly opted for the Note 12.2. Buying second hand is always interesting, but that's what I did, and I saved serious money that way.
The tablet arrived, and a day later (ha!) Samsung updated its ROM to Lollipop 5.02. How about that?! I had to exchange the Logitech Keyboard I'd bought for Samsung's own keyboard / snap-on case.
To say I'm pleased with this set-up would be an understatement. I use it daily, often for hours on end, doing reading, browsing, downloading, word processing (the Hancom Office Suite is fantastic!). I still wish there was a "clamshell" type of attachable keyboard on this baby... but do find the Samsung blue tooth keyboard set up just fine and growing on me. I also picked up a Samsung bluetooth mouse, though confess I haven't used it very much.
The fact this tablet has the s-pen, the touch screen, 3g of memory, 32g of storage memory, plus my 128g micro-sd card, not to mention a full-blown bible/theology app (third party "MySword") that runs like greased lightening on this pup, leaves me extremely satisfied. As close to perfect as electronics get, I'm thinking. And durability I have high hopes for as well... I own a now old Samsung Galaxy II Note phone and it still runs a charm.
Final note for geeks. It is easy to root the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 Pro... but realize once you have done so, you have to wave goodbye to your warranty. This tab had a few months left on it, but I went ahead and rooted anyway, because I like using "TWRP" (a recovery interface program) to do mass backups with. Just progress with caution.
That's all.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

Perfect for School

I bought this tablet to use it for school note taking. I'm an undergraduate Physics major and Math minor, so I have a lot of technical notes to take. With the Note Pro 12.2, handwriting fidelity is very high. The built in features let me take images from books (I try to get all of my books via Kindle or something like so I have them on my tablet; it's the perfect textbook reading size) or from posted lecture notes. Also, using an app like Lecture Notes lets me take notes in different colours, add in shapes, etc. It's been a huge boon over traditional, pencil and paper notes.
For my personal usage, this tablet is perfect. Just the pen without the digitizer wouldn't be good enough, and any smaller wouldn't work as well for notes and textbooks. If you're using it for something other than school or work, though, you may find it a bit large and awkward. Also, the unit is kind of creaky in hand and doesn't give me a lot of confidence in the build quality. The S-Pen is also a little small and doesn't feel like a traditional pen, but I think it's something you get used to (I considered a Bamboo pen, but the included S-Pen is growing on me and I haven't had issues using it for a couple of hours at a stretch).
All in all, I love it for what I use it for. If you're looking for a tablet for consumption of media, like Netflix, internet browsing, etc., this may be too big for you and the S-Pen functionality can be found on other tablets with less fidelity (if you don't need it for notes). If you're looking for a professional tablet with really great writing fidelity for notes, art, technical schematics, or the like, this thing is awesome. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth the money. I also tried out a Surface Pro 3 and felt the writing was better on the Note Pro 12.2, for what it's worth.
Pros: note taking
Cons: questionable build quality

This is my 4th galaxy tablet, and my wife has had 2. The Pro Note is by far the best one so far. Its really not as big as I expected, very easy to handle. Great speed, love the multi window feature, and awesome colors, very clear and crisp. Yes, it is a little pricey, and the battery life could be better, but overall, very good tablet for both personal and business use. Highly recommend you try one.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, hancom office product
Cons: battery life

Awesome Tablet!

I have had iPads the last like 5 years of my life. I have finally decided to make the switch to the galaxy tab. Couldn't have made a better decision in my life... This tablet does everything i could have wanted and more! Before purchasing i was debating on going with one of the 10.1 tablets and quickly chose the pro 12.2. Simply for the reason it has all the features i wanted! i wanted a tablet with all the business apps but only the pro offers it... but i also wanted the s Pen because i use it all the time but neither of the 10.1 inch tabs had both of those features and i got the 12.2! what a great device i love it! is a bit weird for one handed operation but with a tablet this large i don't think anyone would be doing much of that!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: pricey

I have had my Note Pro 12.2 for about 2 weeks now. I haven't used it for too much work yet, but so far I'm quite happy with it. The sound quality from the speakers is real good & the processor along with the Android Software perform quite well together. The quality of the HD display is really nice as well & the graphics are nice & crisp. The USB 3.0 port was a great addition along with the microSD card as well. Overall, Samsung did a real nice job designing this tablet & so far I can't find anything to complain about other than the high price.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, usb 3.0
Cons: high cost

Galaxy Pro Perfect for my Art Photo Needs

Going between my smart phone and computer, I really needed a large portable tablet that would allow me to edit and build a an image over long hours. Size and design plus the electronic stylus and ease of use have made the experience a pleasure and revelatory in terms of what I've been able to accomplish. Hard to get myself to go to the printer instead of working on the next project.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, ease of use
