Great picture

Great picture, clear and crisp. Like the easy control panel. Just remember the TV is big! make sure you've got enough room for it. My husband is very happy!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Flimsy hardware design

Lack of modularization causes replacement of whole board at $$$ instead of replacement of part. Ant In is too delicate for normal use, easily broken with slight pressure. Ant In breakage not covered by warranty, even though easily damaged due to poor design. I will not buy another samsung.
Cons: Poor quality, poor hardware design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THERE IS SO MUCH TO LEARN

There is really , so much to learn about my new smart TV. I have only had this TV for 3 days now. So far the think that I like about it, is when I connect the TV to my Wi-Fi , I can use my Surface RT and the: play to: feature in windows 8 , to send my pictures rite to the big screen. The kids love that the most. To see themselves on the new TV was great. I can not forget about the Samsung APP that allows me to control the whole TV from my Surface RT. Samsung hit a major home run with this TV.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: want it to play my google apps, snyc with my onedrive account, cant down load my onenote 2013 app

Good screen, poor wifi, SmartHub is terrible

This would be a good tv if you had it connected to a BlueRay player or had HD cable. But connected to a LAN or wifi the connection is very poor. The design of the wifi is such that the router needs to be within 15'. And even if it's hard plugged into the network, SmartHub only has a few apps that are worth watching and even they keep having updates/connection issues.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, wifi is poor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have had this item for 11 months. Smart TV is interesting, a weak computer when when considers performance. Might require more ram - seems to take a while to enter smart mode - apps seem to be adequate. The firmware update via internet does not work, will not direct to the proper web location address. Consumer needs to download update from samsung site using a computer, transfer to a usb then install on TV for the updates to occur.
Pros: Realistic color

This tv is great all the way around! Runs pretty slow on smart hub sometimes. Smart hub always needs an update every time I turn it on. Other than those issues I love the TV.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: slow response time on smart hub

i haven't been able to use all the features, but it works very well so far. I do wish it would have come with a wireless keyboard and mouse for using the Internet. Trying to use just the factory remote is VERY slow. Otherwise it has been great!
