My kids, wife and myself love this tv. We mounted on the wall and just looks amazing, great picture and great sound, however I would have loved for the Tv to have had more internal memory... Still like it!
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: not enought internal capacity
I would recommend this to a friend!

The picture is incredible

The picture is incredible with this TV using both a Amazon Fire and a Samsung Blu ray. You can't ask for better. I had an older flat screen and the hardest thing for me was getting use to the new controller. It took a couple a days to get it set in my mind, but after that I have found that the new controller provides a more rapid method to get into the menus.
First off I want to say I'm a loyal samsung customer, almost to a fault. I purchased this TV with "top of the line" in mind. Unfortunately, "topof the line" requires me to go to 65" and spend a thousand dollars more. The design of the TV is not mind blowing, when you're spending this type of money on a TV you almost expect their best design. But most don't really Choose a TV on what the case looks like they purchase it on the performance, capabilities, and Picture. I gave it 4 stars on performance because again I wasn't floored by it. But it does perform well and smooth. The capabilites are the same of any smart tv you can get now days, but the fact that it performs well makes it for smooth navigating through the smart hub a breeze. Lastly, but most importantly, The picture quality is Amazing! I want to also add this is not my first Samsung high definition TV. I could tell there were improvements from the Un55ES8000. Most of my Problems for this particular product were compared based of how I felt when i purchased the first TV, I remember being floored by it. I think for a first time Samsung TV buyer this TV will impress you and hopefully it does.

I have just replaced my current Magnavox big screen TV with the 4K SUHD JS9000 Series Curved Smart TV - 48" Class (47.6" Diag.). So far it is amazing. The colors are vivid brilliant. The curved screen gives you a better viewing area than my old TV. I highly recommend this TV for anyone who is an avid TV viewer. I look forward to many years of service with this TV.
I really LOVE everything about this TV!!!! I always wanted a curved TV and I love the fact that I'm able to experience good TV picture quality from any seat in my living room. The however part of this review, is that as I'm writing this review the TV has periodically logged itself into Netflix without me or anyone else touching the remote. I will have to call Samsung about this. Outside of this I love the TV and its features!
Pros: Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first flat screen HD TV, and TV with HDMI ports, I have owned, I have been using CRT tube TV's for 15 years.
I purchased this TV because I was in the market for a great gaming TV, (one with low input lag and with low motion blur) and for one that also has great picture quality.
I mainly use this TV for watching streaming videos from my computer via my PS3, and for gaming with a Xbox 360, PS3, and older consoles.
The picture quality is great for everything I do so far, the videos I stream are generally not 720p, or 1080p, but the TV fills the screen with them and upscales them really well. It reveals details I didn't even see on my older TV. I haven't watched a Blu-ray or any 4K video yet, but I don't expect any issues. I also haven't tried the 3D glasses or options yet, but I don't expect any issues.
The TV will read video files stored on an external USB hard drive or thumb drive, so far it has played everything I have tried and has upscaled them very well. I would like the interface for this to include a list view, as now it just shows a lot of thumbnails.
The blacks are very deep, and the screen is bright enough that it overpowers any reflections. The curve actually stretches the reflections, making them harder to see. The screen is shiny, but light coming from overhead and the window in the room is barely noticeable.
One of my favorite features is that each source can have its own picture settings. I use the 3rd HDMI port with my PS3, and use that for mostly watching streaming videos. So I use different settings than I do on the 2nd HDMI port, where I have my Xbox 360 connected and mostly use it for games only. On my component source, I have things set up where Auto Motion Plus is on. The ability to not have to change picture settings each time I change sources is great.
Gaming look great, even when gaming mode is on, which is a must for low input lag. I am seeing details very clearly, and things I had never seen before.
I have yet to notice any input lag, something I was worried I would.
The TV comes with what is called a Full One Connect Box, this is the brains of the TV, and houses all of the ports and connections.
I like the idea of this, as it makes connecting other devices easy, I don't have to fumble around the back of the TV.
There are plenty of ports for everything I wish to connect, including a component/composite port that uses an adaptor to let me hook up component/composite devices, such as an older DVR and older gaming consoles.
The ports are all tight, and require some push to plug things into. I don't worry about anything plugged in coming loose, with the only exception being that the cable for the component/composite adaptor seems loose, but I haven't had it disconnect. The cable for the One Connect Box also seems a little loose, but I have not had it disconnect either.
Setup was easy and straight forward, it recognized my cable box through an HDMI port and even gives me access to the channel listings of the box. Even though I don't have the recommended internet speeds, it connected without any problems, both via an ethernet cable, and via wifi. I have no problems playing content with the installed YouTube app, or with the Pandora app.
I had downloaded the latest firmware before I received the TV, and it found it on my USB thumb drive and installed within an hour and a half.
The sound is really nice, and I don't yet feel a need for a sound bar. I sit roughly 6 feet away, and everything sounds clear.
Using the remote takes a little getting used to, but after slowing the speed of the cursor, it is coming second nature, just like using a mouse. I haven't had much luck with the voice commands yet however. I'm sure after a while it will recognize me more accurately.
I have only had two issues:
One, occasionally I get what looks like static around text on the PS3. Switching to another source and back fixes the issue. It has only happened a few times. I do not know if they are caused by the TV, the HDMI cable, or by the PS3.
Two, when installing the stand onto the TV, the bottom left screw would not go in all the way until I held the TV a certain way, it was like the hole was misaligned a little, other than that, it assembled without much trouble, and seems really sturdy.
Overall I am thrilled with this TV, it has exceeded my expectations and I am still finding new useful features.
