Last year's model still the best!

This curved SUHD smart TV was the top of the line in 2015 but still is in my opinion. The reasons are as follows: still available at about half price, 3D capable which is no longer available in the 2016 lineup, if you have an old VHS machine with component RCA inputs and outputs this TV has that connection capability, if you have an older surround sound system with non HDMI or optical inputs this TV is capable of connecting using a patch cord (sold separately) that splits a headphone jack into two RCA plugs. Last TV with all these features made by Samsung and upgradeable via firmware to HDR!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, Built-in speakers

I stood in the store and watched a Samsung 6500 55 inch curved TV everytime I went. I was totally amazed at the picture. It felt like if you stepped forward you would be right there. I was ecstatic when I received a newer version, the 9000, as a gift. I delayed setting it up because I wanted to have plenty of time to get it right. And surely a TV of this quality was going to be complicated. I WAS WRONG!! I had it out of the box and set up in under 2 hours. I actually set up the TV after every thing was connected, in maybe 30 minutes. Then I was watching my new TV. I had found the Samsung model 6500 curved TV awesome, but the Samsung 9000 SUHDTV curved blew me out of the water. This TV is unbelievable and I am so proud to be the owner of one.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, easy to set up.

I just retired and still had my old 42 inch plasma, thought it was time to get something new. Looked at many tv's and over all this was way better than any of the others I've seen. I had it delivered and in ten minutes I was watching it! WOW It was 6am and the sun was coming up before I knew it. I just love it. So... Now I ordered the Samsung HW-J7500 Curved 8.1 Channel 320 Watt Wireless Audio Soundbar. I'll be spending a lot of time watching TV and now it will be most enjoyable!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, 3d effect
Cons: expensive

The difference in picture clarity is seen immediately. It is like being on the set when I watch a movie. Even movies from 60 yrs. ago are better! I am glad I bought this one.

I am very happy with my purchase of the TV. I always buy Samsung products when upgrading my home theater. The curved part is well worth the money since my wife and I set a few feet apart while watching. The color is vibrant and the smart functions are awesome. I would buy this TV again.

I have had many Samsung flat screen Plasma and LED models and have been very happy with all of them. This one keeps the 3d feature (thank you !!!), and I REALLY like the external connection box. This is a great idea. You are able to plug in a multitude of devices, have it laying handy on your audio shelf or even mount it on the wall for very easy access. No more trying to find the HDMI port or any other input hidden on the back of the TV. Great idea Samsung. Thank you !!
