To say the picture on this TV is spectacular is an understatement. What an incredible TV. Easy to setup - Easy to use - great picture - good sound - what more could you ask for? Without a doubt, the best TV I have ever owned.

This TV surpassed my expectations. The second I plugged it in it showed the vast features and Quality picture and sound it possessed. Everything from streaming apps and easy on screen set up are some of the great features this TV offers. I just love it!

Extremely impressed with the UN65JS9000 4K SUHD Curved TV!!!!!!!

From the moment I hit the power button and watched this tv come to life I knew I had made the right choice in my search for 4K SUHD. Set up was a breeze and the installed guides are very helpful in explaining all the features. The picture......WOw......just WOW!!!!!! The colors are bright and crisp and sharp, and the black is true black. The one connect made it so much easier to connect my other devices, whoever came up with that deserves a raise!!!!! This is simply a beautiful television and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Way to go Samsung, you knocked this one out of the park!!!!!

Simply Amazing

Just got the 55" JS9000 today - along with the HW-J7501 sound bar. To say that this combo is amazing would be the biggest understatement ever made! The picture quality on this television is beyond compare. I've looked at just about every television on the market and nothing even comes close. The nano-crystal technology delivers color so vivid with contrasts so deep that you almost can't believe its a television!
My wife was skeptical about getting a curved television, but after just 15 minutes of watching she was hooked. The depth of field along with the color quality - give the picture a 3D quality (and we havent' even TRIED the 3D feature yet!).
One of the best features is the OneConnect box. This makes set up beyond easy. You put together the television, plug all of your components into the OneConnect and THEN plug that box into the tv. This reduces the hassle of having all of those cables running down the back of your tv. Now - you just have 2 ... the power cord and the OneConnect cord. Then you turn on the tv --- and it literally walks you through the entire set up on its own. Easy peasy!
Finally (and this should be a separate review) the HW-J7501 sound bar is A-MAZING. The sound quality is outstanding and the 8.1 channels creates truly unbelievable surround sound - without rear speaker! Kudos to the engineers at Samsung on both of these astounding products!
Pros: Bright display, amazing color, deep contrast, outstanding design.
Cons: a bit expensive

My first high-end tv purchase

I've always stayed away from smart tv's and purchased tv's with the best possible picture as opposed to internal smart tv capabilities.
So this is my first high end smart TV and I'm impressed.
I love the motion control navigation and the picture quality is superb. Colors are vivid and the gamut is vast.

Out of the box settings aren't terrible... After some tinkering the picture was pristine. Unfortunately because this is an edge lit screen, flashlighting is possible and I have a pretty bad spot on the bottom corner. Samsung will be sending out a technician soon to resolve the issue.
The Tizen OS needs a little work. It's not as intuitive as it should be... I don't use the built in speakers but they do sound impressive for a flat panel.
I'm having issues with hdmi-Cec between the tv and a Sony str-Dn850 receiver. The universal remote featured paired with hdmi-Cec can really cause a headache sometimes creating a perpetual loop of trying to switch sources on only one component and the other switches too but to the wrong source.
I have a hard time passing 5.1 signal in through the TV and to the receiver. It comes out as a stereo signal despite setting it up correctly.
The set has some quarks that I need to iron out but over all I've been very happy with my purchase.

Cons: tizen needs work, difficulties passing 5.1 signal through tv

Beautiful Design

I am impressed with the design of the TV, I am a little less impressed with the picture compared to the price. I see online that is $1000.00 cheaper than when I bought it in a store so that was depressing. I decided to get on the 4K wagon and replace my Plasma and overall; it is a great TV. The refresh rate and Contrast does not compare to my plasma but it has amazing features and I do enjoy the style.
Pros: great design
Cons: very pricey
I would recommend this to a friend!
