Amazing picture quality and depth

Bought my 65 inch curve over a year ago, and though Samsung seemed to have rushed development of the smart apps and had some growing pains, I can say that the support was wonderful and ALL of the problems with the smart apps were quickly fixed.
The plus side to this TV:
1) The smart apps, like Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Pandora, Live Radio, and various news tv sources are enough to keep you entertained without paying the massive price for cable or satellite 2) The UHD upscaling will make even the most vintage of TV shows such as "The X-Files" look just amazing! 3) With an optional Bluetooth keyboard and the smart remote surfing the internet with the built in web browser is a breeze and every bit as easy to do as if you were sitting at your PC. 4) Built in screen sharing allows you to stream your cell phone or tablets screen directly to your TV seamlessly 5) The builtin YouTube app allows you to control and play content on your TV through your smartphone or tablet which makes finding videos much quicker
The Bad: 1) The Wifi requires a Wireless N Network with AES Encryption only to get the best streaming quality error free. This was the "growing pains" mentioned above, and I can't be sure if Samsung has added support for TKIP encryption in any of the 290 software updates. Since I've made these changes to my WIfi router the TV has worked error free, and lag free! 2) The conundrum: Is it a "smart TV" .. or is it just "semi-smart?" This TV has amazing capabilities that just aren't being taken advantage of! The most important of which, is the Bluetooth Keyboard. While it works in the TV's built in web browser, it doesn't work in much of anything else other then apps created directly by Samsung! This is a huge disappointment and source of frustration when logging into new apps and having to use the standard TV remote to "find" or "locate" each letter of your username and password one letter at a time, step over to it, and then click it. For me, it takes nearly an hour after doing a complete software reset to restore and login to all of my apps. Fortunately, since changing my WIfi to AES encryption this hasn't needed to be done. ;) 3) The motion remote that's activated by pointing at the screen and works by using just simple hand motion DOES NOT WORK EVEN IN MODERATELY DARK PLACES! You almost literally have to have blinding light on you and your hands to control the TV with the motion controls and the built in camera. 4) Recent software updates have taken away the nice GUI and replaced it with a shortcut or quick access menu of your "favorites" which often get erased by opening certain apps. 5) Pet Peeve: I would really REALLY love to see the Samsung UHD splash screen that comes up ONLY ONCE, only the first time you turn on the TV, I'd like to see that every time I turn the TV on. And I'm not sure why they wouldn't want this 2 second splash to show on power up, even as an option. It's branding for them.. and I think it looks way cool! LOL
I'll keep this pretty short and simple. This tv is absolutely AWESOME! I'm a gamer, so my two main parameters for picking out a tv was that it had to have a great picture AND have low input lag for the fast action twitch games i tend to mostly play. This tv has the best combination of both hands down. If you are like myself and put a priority on those two things, I absolutely recommend this tv.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, low input lag
Cons: menus take a little getting used to
I would recommend this to a friend!

Picture and sound exceeded my expections. Paired with a Bose system I feel that I am in a theater setting.
This TV looks amazing and the picture quality is really good. This works really well with my PS4. 4K seems to be good (though the only contents are on Netflix/Prime). The one connect box is extremely useful. The curve doesn't seem to bother me, nor do I find the experience that much better for the price.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this tv to replace a Samsung un46es8000f which was also an excellent tv. This tv is better in every way the colors are brilliant and the depth is awesome. It's user interface is also easier to use and is speedier in every. I now actually use the smart tv portion of the tv that I never really used with the old one because it was frustrating to use. This tv rocks

The day after I bought the 4K S9000 is when the magic imbued in this product revealed itself. Prior experience with a SmartTV left me wanting... wonky controls, poor integration of apps, and other shortfalls were almost enough to make me think no company could solve the challenge of a proper SmartTV build. Samsung did it, the S9000 with its marvelous smart controller solved all of the challenges and beyond. You can quickly navigate to any function or capability with gentle pressure on the pointer button and a wave to your desired destination. I started with perusing the varying picture modifications and found the options excellently explained and all integral (default display settings are nearly flawless). On the topic of peripherals; the sync with my non-Samsung sound bar was seamless, my PS4 was immediately available, and the link with my cable box was stress-free. Well executed, Samsung. This was my first purchase from your company and certainly not my last.
This TV is awesome, got it for the Super Bowl and it has not disappointed. The picture is awesome from any viewing angle, even looks good in direct sunlight. The colors are amazing, this TV is worth it, don't cheat yourself with a flat 4K TV, curved is a much better picture and adds depth. The only knock I have on this the sound, you have to turn it way up when watch a movie or TV. Still I would highly recommend this TV.
