This TV is great it has everything you need. Picture overall is great to include 3D. One thing to watch for is flash lighting. The edge lit screens presents flash lighting during dark contrast pictures. If feel this is a design issue and could deter a buyer. Keep in mind this is only noticeable in an all or almost black contrast picture screen. Otherwise the sharp crisp picture is breathtaking and the blacks are great.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, 3d and 4k is breathtaking.
Cons: edge lighting presents flash lighting effect

Beautiful and easy to use, however . . .

My purchase was shipped with old firmware that prevented any wifi connection; found the upgrade on Samsung support site, downloaded to thumb drive and updated firmware via USB port on TV, which did the trick. The rest has been beautiful and thankfully uneventful.
One design critique: the stand is not compatible with 2014 Samsung curved SoundBar for 55" class. Had used the SoundBar with a 2014 TV which fit it flawlessly. With new TV the SoundBar sits in front of the stand, leaving a gap where the power cord and other wiring behind TV is visible. Should not have to buy a new SoundBar to replace a SoundBar only 18 months old. Most likely the new form factor of the stand is more eco-friendly, as the TV shipping carton is not as wide as the 2014 HU 55" class carton.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display

A movie theater in your own home!

There are so many wonderful choices these days and the decision to purchase this particular tv was a huge one for us, as we make purchases like this so infrequently and needed to rethink and stretch our original budget to do so. But we couldn’t be happier that we chose this particular model! For us, it was definitely worth the splurge!!! We had some initial reservations about curved vs. flat as we’d heard varying opinions about the curve. However, any worries we might have had were quickly resolved! Another concern we had was location; the only place it could go in our room was in the corner and we were not mounting it but putting it on a stand. Well, I am thrilled to report that we definitely made the right choice! In my opinion, the curved design seems to be ideal for a corner placement! As many other reviewers have pointed out, you are drawn into the picture from every spot in the room. We concur. It’s like being part of the action. As for the features, clarity and color, this tv is amazing, awesome and top notch in every way! So if you are at all on the fence the way we were, hope this review helps dispel your doubts. It is just so cool to watch....like being at the movies! Can’t wait to explore all the additional options now available to us. We just love it and feel very fortunate to own it!

Thia is the best tv ever, only issues is that the apps crash sometimes but i suspect thats the app dev. Fault as netflix and youtube are flawless.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: poor apps
