Great Blu-Ray Player

This is a great Blu-Ray player for a great price. Movies from a disc are stunningly colorful and the sound quality is excellent. With a full complement of apps, it will also replace your radio! I upgraded from a Sony and the difference is phenomenal.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display

Easy and Wonderful all in one player

Our Blu-Ray player was so easy to setup. It found all our TV's and we can watch our collection of DVD's to our heart's content.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, easy to setup
Cons: Not high def

Samsung Blu-ray player with upscaling

Easy to setup and make work with Samsung smart TV's. Fantastic picture quality with a Samsung 4K smart TV. I haven't had the time to figure out why I have to manually select cable TV and re-select the Samsung soundbar after using this Blu-ray player.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display

Major design/security flaw - Beware if children at home

If you watch an adult multimedia item, it will show a nice screenshot on the home page of your DVD player of the last 10 recently played items. This cannot be removed without watching 10 new family-safe media items. This showing of history cannot be changed in settings!
The player directs the user to use SmartView app to show media from smartphone on the player but the app will only work for TVs as per developer feedback on app reviews. Therefore, you cannot display from your phone in this manner. You must use Samsung's Cloud service. You cannot use Google Drive (Cloud) data on this player either. OneDrive supposedly links with Samsung but I did not try it.
Very disappointed, do not recommend. I would return it if I knew I could get my gift code back...

Cons: Did not meet expectations, parental control issue
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I buy this for my Christmas gift and was very please with. I set up as soon as I get it and could not stop playing with it. This product is highly recommend.

Bad taste from first purchase

We initially purchased a 5700 blurry DVD player that died after one use of DVD player. Returned the product and bought the H6500. So far, great results, but still a bit Leary of Samsung. Hopefully my fears will be unjustified and I'll end up being pleased and content.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
