Performance is excellent but.

The control input is a black disk with black symbols which are impossible to see in other than bright light. A poor operating interface. The remote is cheaply made and the buttons sometimes only work if you press them a couple of times adding more force. Internal contact design and quality is poor. Otherwise it functions reliably and produces a good image.
Cons: the control design and the quality of the remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Additon to 4K Samsung TV

Just purchased a Samsung 4K TV and then got this Blu-Ray Player. Watching movies with this combo is like being at the Theater. Amazing picture.
Pros: Inexpensive, great quality

Im very satisfied with my purchase. The features and apps are good, and with my Samsung TV , working the remote is seamless. One issue I do have is there isnt a button on remote to open/ close tray, otherwise my rating will be higher

The BD-H6500 Blu-Ray player was an outstanding addition to my audio and video experience. Besides the very pleasing Blu-Ray experience, this unit easily solved the one problem that I thought I had with my sound system, that is the desire to play Netflix and Pandora from my Smart TV through my sound system rather than through the TV's inadequate speakers. The BD-H6500 provides the Smart capability also and permitted me to get these services directly into my receiver for both synchronized video and audio output. As a matter of fact, I am still exploring the other services provided by this new addition to my entertainment suite. And the price was right so the value is there. Thanks Samsung for a quality product.

I wanted to get a high quality Blue Ray player for my new Saumsng Curved Screen SUHD TV and after reading on Consumer Reports I chose this awesome Blue Ray player from Samsung. Even normal DVDS look better and Blue Rays look amazing! Great buy - get one today, you won't be disapointed

Samsung Blu-Ray Awesomeness

This Blu-Ray player just adds to the great viewing experience along with my Samsung 4K / 3D TV.
Not only does it play excellent 3D movies but it also come with a vast variety of streaming apps.
Now I don't just get to imagine the possibilities, I get to experience them. Just love it!

This Blu Ray is so easy to operate, typical of SAMSUNG products which seem to be so well programmed and designed to function together with same branded products. The only possible drawback I see is a slightly flimsy body/disc tray.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
Cons: disc tray flimsy
