Overall great product for the price - would definitely recommend it. Easy to set up. Would like more user defined settings options for apps. Would love more codes for TVs for remote pairing.
Pros: Inexpensive, smart (wifi)
Cons: limited options on remote

I am pleased with my Samsung purchase! I rated 3 stars on design because of the location of the buttons on the player. They are located on top of the player, which for my purposes, is a horrible place for them to be. I cant stack anything on top of it, because the item on top blocks the buttons. And it really limits where I can place it in an entertainment center. If I place it too close to the shelf above it, it makes it complicated to reach the buttons. Yes, I can use the remote; but I am someone that uses the buttons on the machine when I place the disc into the player. That being my only reservation about the player, I would buy another one if it needed to be replaced for some reason. The Netflix app access's the Netflix servers in about half the time my Samsung TV does. That's a nice added bonus to my purchase.
Pros: Inexpensive, apps work quicker than my tv's apps.
Cons: placement of controls on the player

Great Blu-ray Player

Researched available reasonably-priced upscaling WIFI Blu-ray players to go with my new Samsung 4K UHD 48" Smart TV. The Smart WIFI BD-H6500/ZA was the best. It was easy to set up and easy to use. It has many additional features that I plan to explore over time. It actually came with a very complete user manual which is unusual these days.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, small

Fantastic DVR!!!

I purchased this DVR and I'm sooo glad I did. I put one of my dvds in and could not believe how perfect the picture was. Clearly it was up scaled to a 4k image. It is connected to my 4k Samsung curve tv. Setting this up is as easy as opening a piece of candy. Its smart ready so the apps I have subcriptions to were there and ready for me to log in and use. I can't say how pleased I am in writing. Samsung you did it again! Fannnnntassstic

Replacement for existing Samsung

Purchased this one to replace Samsung 3d Blu-ray player that would not play newer movies because of no firmware update. Have to say I was surprised at the ease of setting this one up as compared to the 2010 model. Plays Blu-ray movies flawlessly. It seems to have a better picture than the original. There was 1 hiccup in the setup. The remote refused to work but a quick call to Samsung technical support and a replacement remote is on the way. I am sure alot of you know how to check to see if a remote is broadcasting an infrared signal but I didn't. For those that don't use the camera on your phone and point the remote at it. You will see a light if it is working. Thanks Samsung technical for teaching an old dog new tricks. Just all around good experience with Samsung products.

Excellent Samsung 3D Blu-ray player. Awesome graphics, uoscaling to 4k, but note it does not play the "NEW" HDR 4k DVD'set. Excellent apps selection, easy setup...get a HD hdmi cable for better quality playback
