No problem connecting with Acorn TV, which was our main goal. Same with Netflix and Amazon.
Easy navigation using the Home button on remote. One call to support was concerning how
to start photo slide show in the Multimedia section using a flash drive. That issue was resolved.

It's a marvelous machine

The minute I click the power button, it takes over the TV, and is ready to go. I bought it because of the 3D capabilities, and it worked perfectly right from the beginning. It's easy to operate, and I think it was a great buy. I do have reservations with the 3D glasses. They worked great, but it took a moment to realize that there was no real on/off switch--I had to reinsert the little plastic tab that allows the battery to make contact.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

All I can say about the picture is WOW!! This DVD player is 4K UHD compatible and it takes blu Ray DVD's and upscales them. Awesome picture!!

It is a great unit but the manual controls are awful. There are four random buttons in a circle on the top with no labeling. Really?
But it has a great GUI, excellent sound and picture and plays any Dvd disc format I have put in it. Yes blu ray are good as well.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: manual controls

recently purchased a samsung UHD tv and wanted top of the line accessories. samsung did not disappoint with this smart bluray player. Not only is it the best value out there the performance is great. Runs quietly, start up is about 8 seconds or less, and produces fantastic picture. When paired with my samsung tv with anynet they instantly connected. Set up was simple, we were watching movies 10 min after removing product from box

So glad I purchased this model-3D capable-4000UKD ready.It wasn,t that much more than models without these features.

This player was easy to get set up and programmed readily with the Harmony remote. It is a great bridge between our older (non-Smart) TV and to an OLED 4K 2-3 years down the road. The Smart is well organized and easy to use. Plays movies great. Nice remote, too! We'd definitely recommend this player!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, easy set up!, works great with harmony, has a really nice remote!

The Best Blu-ray Player

I had purchased this player to replace a 3 year old player. I was looking for a Blu-ray player that could do upscaling, this player did the trick. Easy to use and set up, makes DVD's look great and Blu-ray movies jump off the TV. Perfect fit for my 4K HDTV.
