Great Comedy

Galaxy Quest is one of my favorite comedies. I love how they spoof Star Trek and fan base that Star Trek or any sci-fi genre has. The cast is perfect with Tim Allen leading the charge. This film is not like other Allen comedies but Allen captures William Shatner's persona to the tee. I highly recommend this film for fans of both Star Trek and Tim Allen.

Great Sci-Fi Comedy movie

Galaxy Quest debuted some time ago, but it has a classic movie genre feel of science-fiction and comedy. Tim Allen, and Sigourney Weaver are a great tandem team, and it's a fun movie to contrast Sigourney Weaver in a sci-fi comedy compared to her usual of the "Aliens" horror.

This movie is a must for all obsessed sci-fi fans. So the special effects are terrible and some of the dialogue is cheesy. The cast does a great job of showing the frustration of typecast actors, and there are all kinds of inside jokes that are meant for real fans of series like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica.
