Awesome sound reproduction as is all the bose products I own. I run a 20wpc Lars & Ivan hybrid tube amp on them...what a combination!

Love them

Installed last week and in under an hour with sa5. Very noticeable improvement over my Bose Bluetooth speaker. The stereo sound blows it away and no more worrying about charge levels. It's great to relax on my deck with a cocktail and since I have the sound touch 20 in my kitchen I can refresh my drink wiyhout a break in the music.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 15 years ago and installed outside, one to the garage and the other to 4 story pine tree. We live outside Chicago, IL and the speakers have never moved from the initial location. They weather all elements as designed and still work with the level expected from Bose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these for about two months. They replaced a pair of Cambridge Soundworks outdoor speakers. The sound field is wider, the bass is better, they are good...solidly good. These are a solid right in the middle high quality sound speaker. Better than most, lacking in audiophile perfect sound, but again better than most. People seem to like to hate Bose, but the reality is, they produce satisfying sound that is, well...satisfying. Their sound is more than adequate for my porch for get togethers, frustrating the neighbors, and drinking a beer on the porch watching the sun go down over the mountains.

Easy Set up and Amazing Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the sound touch wireless system with 251 speakers last week. I read the online pdf manual for installing these items while they were in transit. I set the speakers up and also installed the amp yesterday. The install for the speakers was easy. Before I set up the speakers, I went ahead and downloaded the sound touch app so that it could download while I set up the speakers. The installation was flawless. I think one item that helped is I have Xfinity and I put a wireless pod to boost the internet close to where I installed my amp. I estimate that the time between the installation and listening to music was 45 minutes at most. I linked my Amazon Music account to my sound touch app and I was listening to music quickly. In fact, there were no hiccups whatsoever. I listened to music from my outdoor Bose system all yesterday afternoon. It is also important to note, that I attached my 251 speakers to an outdoor pergola. I do not have a means to install the amp indoors. So, I installed the amp's bracket to one of 4x6's and put the amp in its bracket and connected it to power. After I listened to music yesterday, I unplugged the amp and disconnected the speaker wires (it simply pulls out of a wire tray from the amp, easy), and I put the amp inside. The next day, when I went outside, I simply took my amp, slid it into the bracket on the 4x6, put the speaker wire tray back in and plugged it into power. The amp was ready in 30 seconds and I was playing music. Today, I decided to walk out into my yard to crank up the music and to see how far away I could hear it with clarity. Usually, when you crank the music up too high it will simply sound like a "thud." I was amazed how clear the music was at the end of my property. Now let me say this, with the music fully cranked up, I walked back to the speakers and they were VERY loud, which is what you want. The sound on these speakers is incredible. I intend on purchasing another of these kits and 2 of the green ground speakers. I will hook the additional 251's into my current amp (yes, you can plug 4 speakers into the amp!!!) and use the other amp to control the ground speakers. The only thing that I wonder about is adding some further bass to this system (you do not need it but I like the bass tones). I recently purchased the Bose Sound Bar 700 and its accompanying 700 subwoofer (and the surround speakers). As an aside, if you want to get some serious in-door sound for your movies, etc, the 700 sound bar and subwoofer are amazing. When you crank up the sound on the 700 sound bar and its subwoofer you will rattle your windows and your bones. It's incredible. I am curious if I could add a 700 subwoofer outside (I know I would have to take it inside each time I used it. Does anyone know whether the amp would discovery the subwoofer or whether I would need the sound touch connector?) When I order the second 251 sound touch kit and the ground speakers, and get them hooked up, I will give another update and review. In sum, these speakers are AWESOME. Today while I was putting up my son's outdoor Halloween items, I decided to tee-up the sound while I was way out in the yard just to hear the sound. About 30 mins later my brother in law and sister in law came up to my house (they live over 1/4 mile from my house) and complimented me on the sound (they said that they enjoyed hearing my music at their house :) Bose - enough said.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These speaker’s have been hanging on my patio wall for 20 years and the still work. Kind of wondering why Bose hasn’t updated a product in 20 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system has far surpassed my expectations. Yes they were a little pricy but you get what you pay for. I do take them in in the winter. I reinstall them in the summer. I have had them for a few years and every summer I am always impressed by the sound. And using the sound touch app is a breeze. It is hardwired to my network and I pull music to be played from my computer that had all of my music. The whole system works flawlessly. I have recommended this system to everyone I know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These speakers are amazing, I live in Nebraska and have had ice hanging on them. And they work just like the first day I installed them. Great sound and have no problem turning them up with my old ipod that has plenty of music download on it.
