Nice Freezer

I bought this in a rush, my old freezer broke on a 95 degree day.
I like the drawers. Would be nice if it had one more shelf, so there is not so much weight on the top shelf.
It is also noisy, but they tell you this up front. It also seems to run a lot, but again we have had very hot weather since we purchased it.

Very nice however the availability of more door shelf bins would be nice. There is far too much wasted space that could be utilized by more bins.

Love the way shelves are with the baskets

Freezer was delivered on 1-14-17 so jury still out on performance. Purchased 2 types of thermometers and freezer stay within a 2-3 degrees window. Layout is nice, LED lighting is great and the 2-day stay cold feature during power loss gives us options to save food. The only reason why it does not get 5 stars right now is: Why in the world does it only have 3 adjustable shelves instead of 4? This creates a large dead unusable space on the door. The engineering or sales team could have had only one thing in mind when they equipped it with 3 adjustable shelves; "We can make more money when the consumer goes out and pays top dollar for a 4th shelf." Which by the way is not offered on the Frigidaire website.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this freezer. I love the auto-defrost, the inside light, the pullout bins, the door buckets, all the storage space with one shelf giving enough headroom to store jugs of cider, and that there is a light to let me know it is running--none of which my smaller upright freezer had. My first choice--the model with the pizza shelf and the soft freeze compartment was unavailable, but for me it would have been worth the extra money to have it. This model provides all my present needs though, and I am delighted.

So Far So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this first of June and so far has been great. Wish at least 2 more door bins were included, but otherwise great. Installed in garage. FYI, it is replacing a 38 year old top name 18 cu ft chest freezer that still runs well, just not at its prime any more, & went to thrift store. As expected, was not able to get quite everything from the chest into this "20.5" cuft unit. Have not had a good period of use, in part due to our hot weather and unusual running of air conditioning, to see if the energy use is significantly different from the old unit, we'll see. But the freezing temp thus far is holding very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

BOUGHT 6 MONTHS AGO JUST WENT OUT LOST OVER 1000.00 IN MEAT I AM HAVING IT HAULED OFF EVAN THOUGH IT WARRENTY I AM NOT GOING THROUGH THIS AGAIN
