Buyer beware

if you anticipate using your new microwave for longer than a year or two, you may want to pass on this one. purchased less than 2 years ago and used in a part-time home, this has stopped heating entirely. as it is out of manufacturer warranty, service on it will cost more than the unit is worth. will be replacing with a non-samsung unit. very disappointed!

yeah, disapointing got this product much before covid and anything else, and now out of nowhere start smell burning kind of electronic device failing. seems that the heat is weak takes 4 minutes to heat up a mug of milk. was a great product so far. but this premature failure really bothers me. i will contact assistance and see if they can do anything even that the warranty has just expired.

garbage!! i purchased a 3 piece bundle - microwave, dishwasher, and fridge, all failed within two years. the ice maker failed on the fridge, the microwave continues to run after it is shut off and the dishwasher beeps and shuts off before finishing a cycle. idiot me did not purchase an extended warranty and they are now out of warranty and i have to replace them. do not purchase, find a better product than samsung. garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the oven to replace a broken oven. Works well. Cooks fairly evenly. Fan is excessively loud and doesn't draw air sufficiently to actually keep vapors from the front stove burners from just going into the room.

Too Bad So Sad

i built a new home with an attached caregiver apartment for my autustic son. both kitchens had all samsung appliances installed . between the 2 kitchens i have had faliure in a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and now one of microwaves! all approx 3 years old. the first appliance failure was right after the warranty expired - no such thing as a durable good anymore. too bad. nice looking appliances - all looks and no lifespan. oh yeah…another wonderful feature ..the closest “repairman” that will touch the brand is over 100 mikes away. i guess it is way past time to report to bbb.

garbage constantly has an issue where everytime i close the door it turns on. no clue why it keeps doing this only way to stop it is too plug it out or turn off from the fuse box.

If your Microwave turns on by itself after you close the door, you may need to clean the door, check the latch, or ensure it is closed all the way. But if your cooktop lamp does not turn off, it may just be wet from recent cooking.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I see you have some concerns with the microwave not heating anymore.
A microwave that is not starting or heating is usually in Demo mode. It is commonly used in retail showrooms to demonstrate microwaves without activating their magnetrons. It will also take longer for the microwave to heat if it doesn't have enough clearance or ventilation.
