Cant get it fixed right

I have had this Micro for about 10 Months now and have never been able to cook with it for more than 3 min without it popping the circuit breaker. It seems that even though it says it is 1000 watts it actually pulls 1700 watts and will not work on a 15 AMP Cir that it was wired to, That means if you have a 15 AMP Circuit you are hooking it to and cooking on High, you will draw 14.4 amps which is just below the rating of the Circuit breaker but if you turn on or use anything else that Circuit is on, it blows the breaker. I finally broke down and paid an electrician to wire it as a standalone item on its own 20 amp Circuit breaker and thought that would help. I was able to run it for more than 3 min now but when I tried to cook 2 baked potatoes in it on high for 16 min as per the recipe, (everyone know it takes 8 min per potato on high), it actually stopped working all together and the Circuit breaker was not popped. The screen just went black. I believe it was an internal breaker of sorts for temperature and the Micro was overheating. I purchased a whole set of the charcoal gray appliances for my kitchen when we moved in. I have another Tech coming in 2 days to replace the motor and see if that helps because it is not running at peak either. I would have thought that they would have replaced the Micro by now as this will be the 4th visit in less than a year. I love the design, features and styling, Just wish they could get it working. I fear I may need to replace it with a Competitors product just to have a working Microwave.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has Great Design

We got this installed today so haven't used it much but looks great wife loves the 4 speed fan,the lighting and all the features that come with it. I suppose we will be reading and learning what all it's capable of. We thought we got a very attractive Microwave for an extremely great price. The installers were great to work with they made a half a day job for me into less than an hour for them. They did a great job we look forward to many years of service from our new Samsung OTR Microwave

This is first new microwave my wife and I have had to buy since moving into our house 5 years ago. We love the stainless steel look, it cooks everything faster and more thoroughly than we are used to!

I'm going on my third microwave in 2 months. First one made really loud noises after being on for over 1 minute. Second one has a faulty fan, works OK on low, but on other speeds make loud noise like fan is hitting something. I'm waiting for third one to be installed. it is also hard to use the buttons, you must press right in the middle. if I had a choice I would get a different model
Cons: Poor quality, buttons hard to use

Great Microwave

The Samsung ME18H704SFG/AA is a a solid overall purchase. When shopping for a replacement for my previous unit, I found most newer microwaves to be too big to fit in the existing space. This model, on the other hand, was perfect.
The black stainless looks great and the interior rack is incredibly handy. It's solid construction feels great when grabbing the handle and the buttons work well. Sensor cooking is a life saver. Quite pleased with the purchase.
My only complaints are how easy it is to get fingerprints on the display, and the general design is ok, but not as flashy as some of Samsung's other models.
Pros: Durable, great look, sensor cooking
Cons: not the most inspired design, easy to smudge
I would recommend this to a friend!
