Only issue is the finger prints on the stainless steel. Needs constant cleaning but thankfully Norwex cloths work great!

Great Over The Range Microwave

This microwave oven is a clean and highly functional design. It belongs in a modern kitchen with its great lines. Most important, it does what it is supposed to do...cook, extremely well. We love it, and it enhanced our kitchen.

This product died after 15 months

Product lost power and required service after 15 months, out of warranty....I bought a complete Samsung kitchen of appliances last March and am now wondering if they all are going to break down. Not too happy. We are two people and work full time. we used the microwave to re-heat coffee and cook vegetables. Not much use, really.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband and I just installed this microwave in our home yesterday. We love it. It has enough settings (but not too many), and the appearance is beautiful. The instructions were pretty simple to follow, with one exception. Our manual showed the front as having a grill for ventilation. However, that's not how this one is designed. You have to open the door to see the grill and the grill faces the top for ventilation. You need to remove that panel in order to get the charcoal filter in. That panel removes by taking out a couple of screws and sliding and then pulling. Additionally, it would have been nice if there was some extra mounting hardware. You are provided 2 toggle bolts and 1 screw. The 1 screw is for your stud location. In our case, our studs are spaced out at the edges of where the mounting bracket goes. So we added additional screws into ours so that we are in the 2 studs, and then we used the toggle bolts in the center.
As far as function goes, it's very quiet, it's very pretty, and we are very happy with our whole Samsung black stainless suite. I would recommend the product.
