Microwave was a waste of money

We bought this with our other appliances. It was replaced 3 times with in 2 weeks of buying it for different reasons of not working. The 3rd microwave worked for 1 year and 1 month, then died. Of course it wasn't covered under warranty any longer and we didn't buy the extended warranty. Also, you couldn't use the timer of the microwave if you were cooking something.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The kitchen timer does not start or stop cooking functions. You cannot set or change the timer if a time-based function is operating (i.e., Time bake) or if Sabbath Mode is enabled. Refer to this link for your reference: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00088062/.

My second try.....

Just bought another one. My first one died after about two years. The only reason I bought the same thing is that it made it easy to install. I am hoping they have fixed the magnetron problem. Guess I will find out. Wish me luck. If it does fail again. I will NEVER buy a Samsung appliance again. Outfitted entire kitchen with them during remodel.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Feature packed and near silent

Installation was pretty straight forward as any other over the range microwave. This microwave is full of features as well. This product shines in the noise level of the microwave during operation. It is far and away the more quiet than my last microwave. This interior may be a little dark but hopefully that means it will show a bit less dirt and other inside the microwave messy living we all pretend we don't have.
Pros: Bright display, quiet

First of all I want to say it was really easy to install! And the outside appearance of this microwave is beautiful. And it's easy to operate. I would highly recommend this microwave to anyone. Samsung is the name I trust.

We are so happy with the Samsung Over the Range Microwave oven. It was very easy to install and has every feature we could ever need.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, beautiful stainless steel color

Keypad and timer could be improved

I found the key pad a bit difficult to get used to. keypad is difficult to read without good lighting so in the evening in a dimly lit kitchen it is difficult to read. the keypad is not very sensitive to the touch so you have to press hard. The controls are not marked well as to which button controls which function.
The timer only beeps once when it is finished and if you are not in the room you do not know it has gone off. You can not use the kitchen timer when you are using the microwave for cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
