Easy to use

There are no 'quick keys' (one touch to cook for 1 minute, etc) but this unit works great and cooks quite evenly. Nice unit to own.

We put this in yesterday, so we're still exploring it. Owner's manual is so, so general in that it apparently applies to many models with some feature maybe in ours, maybe not. Really, it shouldn't take a whole lot of time to create multiple manuals to be specific to individual models and thus make the new owner's life easier. Our biggest complaint is with Samsung's decision to make the power cord come up right through the CENTER of the right side of the upper cabinet. What do we do now with our lazy susan spice rack? (Our 27-year old non-Samsung cord came up at the back.) Anyway, here's hoping we get half of the service we got out of the old one.
Cons: power cord location

follow-up on owner's manual

We submitted yesterday as new owners, and this is a follow-up. Samsung should look into their owner's manuals. For model ME18H704SFB - the one we found in the box is 6 pages long, 3 pages of warning/caution/warranty. 3 skimpy pages of text, no example of control panel, 12 of 27 descriptions say "(Available only on some models)"!?! We found on-line a manual for ME18H704SF that is 26 pages long and gives us the information we lacked. Who is doing the packing for your product? Frustrating and not very impressive. We don't usually complain, but geez.

Attractive Microwave

I like the look of this product and it works well. It has a lot of features. One feature I like is the soften/melt option which I use a lot to soften butter and defrost frozen fruit. The only feature I don't like is that you cannot microwave and use timer at the same time. My last microwave allowed that and I used it a lot. I'm frequently cooking other foods while using the microwave, so I'm using the timer for those other foods when I want to use the microwave for something else.
Cons: can't use timer and microwave at same time

We ordered the newer black stainless finish and love it. The microwave does a great job. Mine did not arrive with an user manual, which I thought was inconvenient, but not the end of the world. Otherwise, it has worked like a charm since the purchase.
