Nothing but problems

I bought this microwave in October and when I went to install it there was a problem with the door closing. When I called Samsung they said the damage wasn’t covered as I didn’t report it within 48 hours. After fighting with them for a week they finally agreed to replace the microwave . Now my new microwave that I’ve had for three weeks has a blown transformer and I’m waiting for the parts to come in for that to be repaired . Not impressed .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful piece of junk

purchased this in a set for over $4,000. this week it stopped heating completely. manufactured 5/19, purchased 8/19, out of warranty 8/20, quit working 4/21. the cost to have someone come out will be over $220 at a minimum. don't waste your money just because it looks nice.

Like the microwave: looks great, easy to use. Installed myself easily.
Just wish there was a light on panel so you could find the light on switch without turning on kitchen lights.

We really are enjoying this new OTR microwave. The new cook selections are right on for convenience, and every time I use it I learn something new that saves me time. It is terrific.
Cons: needs more illumination for reading choices

Great Replacement for my other brand

We had another brand, "name brand" that broke in less then 3 years of use. Since it was bought as part of a package so all our appliances would match, we were very upset. We did not want to buy that same brand again so went to the web to read reviews of other products. The Samsung was a nicely designed product, love the ceramic interior (it looks like an actual oven) and have used it for 3 weeks now. Absolutely love it. The sensor cooking is an added bonus and works perfectly. Just put a plate in and hit sensor and it is reheated to a perfect temp and evenly. We will definitely be replacing the stove and refrigerator with the Samsung model within the next 2 years.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, cooking-display options
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good microwave

This microwave looks very nice in our newly remodeled kitchen. It matches the other appliances well. It was reasonably priced. It cooks well and in less time than the old microwave. I do think that the timer could be better. It is confusing to set and my old (1995model) was able to run and have the timer running at the same time for something else. The alert sound is not very loud, so if I'm not in the kitchen I don't hear the ending alert "ding". All of that being said, it works well and is a reasonable price. I would still recommend it.
