Heats great, looks good....

After the 1st week with my new microwave, I have the follwong observations:
1. Heats fast, love the reheat option.
2. Looks good in my kitchen. I replaced an older Samsung white microwave with this one in stainless steel.
3. I had put up 4 microwaves in the past 3 months. Didn’t figure I needed much more than the templates to put it up. WRONG!!! Apparently, Samsung is the only manufacturer that defaults the ventilation to the outside. Every other defaults to recirculating. So, I had to take it back down, change the position of the blower, and put it back up.
4. The touchpad is black with no back light. Very hard to see unless you have all the lights on in your kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frustrating

Had for over a year now. Basic features work well, but it doesnt Allow you to use the Timer while the microwave is in use!!?? That is crazy.
It’s also quite hard to push the digital “touch” buttons. Hurts my fingers that are getting arthritis.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The turntable does not align on the notched holder as the holder does not stand tall enough to catch the turntable. Popcorn burns if left to pop by the sensor. The filter on the underside will not stay popped in place and pops out multiple times per day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

exhaust problems

Ours is the over the range Miro wave oven, it doesn't seem to exhaust the smoke through the vent to the outside the house when we use the vent option. The smoke seems like it's going through the oven then it comes out of the front of the oven vents and not out through the hood.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installed the microwave christmas eve. Here i am not even a month later it smells like electrical fire and stopped heating our food.i have only used this microwave maybe 5 times.stick to cell phones there samsung....

Bought this m/wave along with 3 other Samsung appliances 6 mths ago. Not happy with any of them. Samsung makes great TV's and cell phones but the appliances come up short in my opinion. The clock on the m/wave loses about 1 min/mth. The button for the light is positioned between the timer and turntable on/off button. The various on/off, hi/lo/off positions are a little confusing. The hi/lo/off button has to be pressed exceptionally hard to actuate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
