Great product except for night light

The microwave works as advertised. However, there is no way to disable the auto night light that comes on every evening at 7PM. The manual lists how to enable it but nothing about disabling the function.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LIGHT HI/LO/OFF BUTTON
The Light button allows you to select a light setting for
your microwave.
Press (times): 1 2 3
Light: High Low Off

Got this in Oct 2018 and it went out April 2019. 7 months and it's dead. Then the repair company they put with me is horrible... I know not to get another appliance from Samsung.. period!

the microwave stopped working within the year of warranty and we were given a new device. now a year later it turns off randomly. unhappy with product.

The turntable cracked within 1 yr

first time i try to cook some popcorn in it, the turntable cracked!!! the default timer was 3 minutes and i even turned it off at 2:30, when i opened the door there are broken glasses all over!

our first one was bad of the box. the 2nd one only made it about 11 months before breaking. the buttons are also extremely hard to push in.

a bit disappointed

too late now, but be aware that this microwave doesn't allow user to set the timer while using the microwave oven function. ridiculous - my lg micro/combo was able to do this.

well, let's see...the clock does not keep correct time and the keypad is very difficult to push. we purchased 4 appliances all at the same time and are not happy with any of them.

2112CP, I realize your experience has been less than ideal, and I'd like to change that. I want to help by providing you this link to an article with information that addresses your concerns:
1. Clock:
The Clock is a 12- or 24-hour clock. Use Control Setup to change mode, or to turn on or off Daylight Saving Time. 12-hour mode: Touch CLOCK, enter time, touch the Start control, select A.M. or P.M., then touch Start control again. 24-hour mode: Touch CLOCK, enter time, then touch the Start control.
2. Eco Mode:
Eco Mode reduces standby power usage. When you press the ECO MODE button once, the display will go out and the microwave shifts to the mode which minimizes power usage.
To cancel the ECO MODE, press ECO MODE button once again,
or press any other button.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when you install the mounting bracket you might want to double check as i used the pattern they supplied and came up 1/2" too low.
