Galaxy Nexus: Old phone in today's market, holds it own

I purchased my GNex about a month after it was released on my carrier. This was to be my third phone by Samsung. An excellent choice! I have not had one single issue with the device. It is very lightweight, is durable (to a point, don't drop it directly on the screen, matter of fact, no matter the phone, protect it!) And is very fast! If in the market for a device that has been out for a little while, but can hold more than it's own in the features department, this phone is it!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Great Phone to Have!!!

This phone is amazing! the screen is brilliant! The slight curve of this phone makes it easy to hold in one hand without the risk of dropping it. Samsung phones are the best phone to have!

Phone is fast, battery life is good and the build quality is excelent. Phone is really light and does not heat up even after hours of abuse.
The camera and not having an SD card slot is the only issue I have. The camera just seems to wash out the colors. It may be the app itself. You can have a better sensor, but you should also still have a higher mega pixel count.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

Absolutely Amazing Phone!

This phone is stunning! I've been playing with it for the past few days and its incredibly easy to use. I went from an iPhone 4 to this and I'm surprised by how I don't miss my iPhone at all. This phone switches from one app to another without any noticeable lag.
The 4G is unbelievably fast when accessing websites or watching YouTube in high quality. I haven't even seen the phone buffer, even when jumping to the middle of a video. On top of the that, the 720P screen is amazing! Its got great definition and vibrant colors that make watching videos and playing games even more enjoyable. The 5MP camera is also a high point. I've taken several pics so far and I haven't been disappointed yet. Its also very responsive. I can snap a pic and its ready to snap another instantly.
There are only 2 issues that one (or atleast I) could have with this phone. First, its a very large phone. This isn't an issue for me seeing as I have large hands, but those with smaller hands will have trouble reaching across the screen with their thumb to press an icon, or to even hold it comfortably. The second issue, and one that kind of irks me, is the battery life. With the iPhone, I could take it off the charger in the morning, and go all day without worrying that my battery might die (and that would be with a lot of texting, watching videos, checking Facebook, etc) and just put it on the charger before bed. This phone however, needs to be recharged at some point during the day (atleast with how much I've been using it) and then at night so that its ready the next day. On the plus side, it seems to charge fairly quickly.

4G speeds are a consistent 14 to 15 Mbps. The OS is clean and fast. The phone feels good in my hands.
Screen is beautiful!
Camera is much better than the reviews I've read.
Voice quality is very good. People tell me they hear the same on their end.
Only con is the speaker for the speaker phone. Not very clear (distortion) at higher volumes.
Amazing phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!
