Verizon Version is AMAZING!

Only had this phone for a day but thus far, it is awesome. I've had all of the high-end android devices and that other i-something or another for the past couple of years. Samsung pulled me away from the i-devices for good when they released the Infuse. Then I moved on to the Galaxy S II and I thought they had reached their peak. Next thing I know they came out with the Galaxy Nexus and blew everyone out of the water. It will be a while before any other manufacturers catch up to this one! Good work Samsung, you're the first to come out with a TRUE iPhone killer!!!!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: app compatability with android 4.0 ics

First Day Out = Paying A Premium

This is a great phone, the only complaint I have is no removable memory. I am giving it a try to see if I really need that the way I do.
I paid a premium because I bought it the first day it was out, but it will be cheaper as other get ICS.
Pros: Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Nexus on Verizon

For every Verizon customer your dreams have come true! the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is here and it does not disappoint. The 4.65 in AMOLED display is gorgeous and how they fit everything into such a small package is amazing. Also, 4G LTE speeds are a revelation coming from 3G CDMA. If stock Android 4.0 on a beautiful device is what you are looking for, then stop and buy this phone now.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

A day with the Galaxy Nexus

First off, my experience with this phone undermines the lame reviews I've read from CNET Kent German (sp?) and Jessica Dolcort. They could have not been further off the mark. This is a beautifully executed piece of technology. The ridiculous comments about it being too big, or cheap feeling are not true. The ICS 4.01 release is wonderful and it's so nice to have the pure Google phone experience. This is my second 4g phone and I'm still blown away by the speed. The organizational abilities of ICS meet my sensibilities in spades. It is so much more sophisticated than the cheesy, child-like, kiddie kiosk iPhone. This phone is simply amazing and will meet all of my mobile phone requirements.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Galaxy Nexus-A New Beginning

So far I do really like the large vibrant screen of the Nexus. Speed and response of the ICS screens are excellent. I like being able to use the phone to replace my GPS device in the car, however the speaker & volume seem to be very low even when set to maximum volume level. I would also like to see improvements in having such features as "smart actions" so you can set device behavior when certain things are done and better battery performance, ie larger battery without making the phone thicker. I would also like to see better accessories for the phone for example vehicle mounts with some other lines come with cables to connect to the car audio and better docks and apps to stream home content. I am a music junkie and use my device to stream music, great audio is very important to me and I would love to see this feature further enhanced as well. Overall, I love the look and feel of the phone and I think this is just the beginning of the future of smartphones! Samsung is on the right track!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, perfect size

Volume Button Location and more

I absolutely hate the location of the volume button. its directly where i like to put my thumb while holding it in my left hand. I get the car dock in the mail tomorrow but from what ive read Samsung has went cheap on us the consumer while charging more than any other manufacture for there car dock. i foresee the charger cable hanging on the right side while trying to charge and gravity pulling it down. why?? Speaker for music is very low. facebook intergration for contacts? why does the pictures look so blurrywhen people call and you have a picture set for them?? ICS is nice though. I am coming from a droid bionic. Honestly may go back to it.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, awesome design other than volume button placement.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery life, car dock needs to be nice.
