Very slim. Sleek and clean looking TV. Extremely easy to set up especially liked the ability to connect to Wi-Fi instead of a hard-line connection. This is a perfect heating for bedroom. also like the design of the stand giving its ability to stand on any piece of furniture because of the center design. Speakers are the best would definitely invest in a bar type speaker for this unit.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: built-in speakers are not great speakers

Great 40" UHDTV

Great replacement for an older 38" 720p LED TV. It fits well in our entertainment center with a slightly larger screen and a world of difference in picture clarity, color, and depth! Very easy to connect and set up with a few quick steps including Netflix and digital TV channels.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight

Superior picture, great features, simply put..... Amazing! I followed other reviews from another website, I will share here, make sure as soon as you plug in you connect to Internet and update the software before doing anything else. I am absolutely crazy about this tv! Set up was so simple, I have the Galaxy S7 Edge and when I went to connect to my internet, the TV detected my phone and asked me if I wanted to set up from my phones wifi profile! It took all of 5 seconds and it was done! I'm currently waiting for my receiver to come so I can view some 4K UHD shows on direct tv but I do have Netflix 4K service and watched a movie in UHD and the picture was amazing! I will come back and add to this review after the receiver comes, but so far great TV for the money!
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, amazing picture!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was pleasantly surprised on several levels.
1. Set up was relatively easy.
2. As a smart set, the WIFI maintains good reception and operates well with my router.
3. Picture quality is excellent as is sound quality.
4. Weight and dimensions are good for the size screen I bought.

Even watching older shows that weren't film in any toe of HD appear as if they were in the clearest form of cinema available to mankind.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: difficult setup

The TV must be reset everything that I want to watch Netflix. The other areas requiring the internet appears to work fine - I did not test all areas just a couple).
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

It only took me about one hour to unpack and set up this TV. Piece of cake. Everything went very smoothly, and I did not have to call Samsung for technical support. At just under $650, this TV is a real bargain.
We had a 36" Toshiba before. The new 40" Samsung has the same width and even lower profile, yet still has a bigger screen (because of less border area). Perfect for our small den. In this small room, the TV's own sound system is fine. No need for a soundbar or other external audio device.
Very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
