Disastrous CEC implementation

While one might think this TV would be able to play well with devices from other brands, they would be wrong. From the moment the TV is turned on, it switches my Denon receiver to "TV audio" even though I source my audio directly through the receiver. Once I switch back to TV, 60 seconds later and periodically during use, it switches back to TV audio. NOT helpful!! Also when I turn the TV on, one of the CEC signals results in my DTA being completely reset, therefore I have to set my DTA back up EVERY time I turn my TV on!!
While this is a common problem for Samsung televisions with ARC connections, this one is worse: while my previous model would at least switch to TV audio when I used the Netflix app, then released it back to TV upon exit (exactly as it should), this device never switches to TV audio upon activating an app! So while it frequently switches to TV audio during TV/BR/AV usage, it DOESN'T when I actually want it to!!
Additionally, they've removed the "universal remote" feature, a (mostly) helpful feature which not only allowed the main remote to act as a remote for my DTA, it also allowed me to view and program a guide for my cable lineup. This is notably absent in this model, while the guide button is on the remote to make potential buyers THINK it is present.
Basically, as abysmally as my previous models functioned, this one is worse by far. Unless you plan on switching inputs on your TV (i.e. not using a video pass through/ARC-compliant receiver), I DO NOT recommend this (or really any) Samsung television.
Pros: 4k
Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not play well with devices from other brands, poor cec implementation, lack of/missing features

Great TV

I just set it up today and find that it not only have a great picture, but the TV is easy to setup. It also light in weight.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight

Shattered screen and frame chipped off

I just went and purchased the TV model. Received the TV package on Monday on boxed today June 11, 2015 when I went to setup after mounting the stands on it and removing all the plastic I realized the frame was cracked and once cracked after touching the screen it shattered running to the button of the screen. Once I found this crack I ran my fingers along the edge of the the and realize the frame was piece was chipped off as well! Currently as we speak I well not be recommending this TV to any one what's so ever because the way the package arrived to me I am currently disappointed in this product
Pros: no pro's
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is nothing easy about this. There is no explanation of anything. You have set this up so that a person has to call the Geeks to come out to make sure it is working properly.

technician forgot wire-fi

I love this smart tv unfortunately I was busy on phone and didn't notice till technician left that he didn't hook up wire-fi had to go out of town so couldn't wait for him to come back.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, light weight

I'm very pleased with the TV overall. However the sound overall is not that great. I would strongly suggest the soundbar with this TV. I broke down and ordered one (Samsung) and cant wait for it's arrival.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: built in speakers not powerful enough
