Poor choice for smart phone

acquired the phone from Verizon, owned it one week and returned it. Biggest problem that neither Verizon or Samsung will or can address was the issue with connecting the phone via Bluetooth to my 2015 BMW X5 model. The phone will connect but will not transfer contacts data the car' screen display. Just shows : No Entries. My older Samsung Brighside Basic phone will immediately display the phone contacts when connected. Other issues include very poor battery performance, it barely last 12 hrs on stand by as compared to Samsung claim of 12 days! The internal antenna is also very poor in picking up a decent signal from my Verizon Network Extender as compared the Samsung BrightSide basic phone. Other than that, the phone looks good, feels good, but performs badly in some key functions.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor bluetooth connectivity, poor battery performance, poor antenna
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Keeps dialing 911

In screen lock mode there is an emergency call button. 5 TIMES on different days, my leg has managed to call 911 as my phone jostles in my pants pocket as I go about my day. Even as I pull my phone out of my pocket the button is perfectly placed on the edge of the screen so my thumb accidentally hits the button as well. This is a userability failure! Samsung might correct this by removing the button (please), or let the emergency dialer prompt to a dialer only, not a dialer plus 911 button that my leg is fond of pressing. The irony, I cannot protect my phone now because Samsung is trying to protect me.
On a positive note, I love the phone and the features plus battery life!!!! I just cannot give any stars because of one MAJOR userability issue. 911 is calling to inquire! Please fix this!!

Its ok but it can be leggy and unresponsive at times I would recommend it for a first time phone

This is the Galaxy family's phone of choice for those who want a Galaxy phone without the size. It is the perfect size to fit into a pocket. The phone performance is great, with a smaller size memory, my only reason for deducting a star, but accepts a Micro SD. Only one thing missing from the phone is NFC.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, size, accepts a micro sd card, 4g lte capabilities, audio quality
Cons: nfc not included
