Excellent for 1st smart phone

This is my 1st smart phone and has been very user friendly to learn how to operate.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I am happy with the overall performance of the phone. The one issue that i have with the phone is that it seems that the processor is not up to my expectations for a Samsung phone. I understand it is a prepaid phone but for me the processor is lagging at time and has issues running some games. There is not a lot of ways to customize the phone like i was hoping with the messaging app and some times i wish that i could turn off the light that flashes when i get a text message, and some times the light comes on and stays on for long periods of time even when answering the messages. The only way to turn it off is to restart the phone and that gets annoying when it happens back to back times. On a positive note this is a rugged phone, i am rough on phones and it is holding its own even before i got a case for it, it bounced off the floor and pavement multiple times before i was able to obtain a case for the phone. The screen is so clear and colorful and bright, i love the clarity of the screen. The camera takes good pictures and the video quality is above what i imagined for a prepaid phone. I have recommended this phone to several friends who are looking to get a prepaid phone set up, I am unsure if they have purchased the phone or not.

I have always like samsung products because to me they at a lot better than I phone now battery life could be a little better but overall awesome phone

The core prime is a great value. It is great as a device to enter the galaxy ecosystem. Overall performance is speedy and reliable. The only catch is that due to the pricepoint, performance is noticeably weaker than higher end devices like the S and Note series. If youre looking to save a buck and dont care about extra features, its a solid device

For a somewhat cheap price the Galaxy Core Prime provides most if not all features expected on a smartphone.
