I purchased this to replace a failing 16cu ft / this freezer was reasonable in price / has all the space I need. It is totally quiet & I Love that. Shelves are not adjustable but Not an issue, love the Light when door open. I would RECOMEND this Frigidaire!

I am glad I bought this freezer. Got it at a good price. Seems to work good. It did seem to frost up quickly on the racks, but now it seems to be at a stand still, so maybe that is just the way it is. I have only ever had a chest freezer before so this is something new for me. Have not noticed any increase in the electric bill, so it must be efficient. It doesn't have that ice cream compartment that some have, but it doesn't need it. If you put the ice cream on the door it stays soft enough to dip. I personally like it to be frozen harder. As my major freezer, I would still go for a chest freezer because you can fit more in without being so careful that it fits like a puzzle, but for second more handy freezer to my kitchen area, it is great.
