Not frost free but efficient.

I clearly should have read the specs more closely. The shelves themselves are the condenser coils and they frost up pretty thick over time. This freezer is very efficient though and is not as expensive to run as I had feared.

Reasonable price for an adequate job of freezing.

It does what it we wanted it to do (keeps food frozen), but it is does not self defrost like the freezer this new one replaced. We used the old one for 25 years without any problems whatsoever. We have not needed to defrost this new one yet, but we do not open it more than twice a week.

This was a purchase for my outside shed for extra freezer space! Keeps things well frozen and has great door storage for my summer fruits and veggies!

Upright is the way to go!

So far it's doing great. The up- right is so much easier to use than our old chest freezer. Everything is nice and cold and easy to find and the appliance takes up less room than our old freezer without loosing sq ft.

I love this freezer this is what I wanted it's in the garage taking up the right amount of space and quiet freeze up room in my freezer in the house. Door space/ shelves are amazing. 6 levels. And 4 places in side to use in the inside space.

Great improvements

Our previous Frigidaire lasted us over 30 years! It also was an upright that finally gave up it's spirit after moving from Lakewood, OH to Murfreesboro, TN. We decided to stay with the brand because of the length of time the other one lasted. We are glad we did. Improved features (the light is great!) ,frost-free, quiet. We would recommend it to anyone.
