Much better than a chest freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer about 6 weeks ago to store the excessive amounts of fish my husband brings home. This freezer is much better than a chest freezer because I can easily organize and reach anything stored within, without having to shuffle things around each time. The price was right and it fit perfectly down our basement stairs without having to disassemble anything.

Best Purchase we EVER Made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our Frigidaire upright freezer now for about 3 months and this is the best purchase we ever made. We had a small chest freezer and were getting tired of digging around to find something. This freezer is quiet, its good looking and it fits in our house very well. The inside is VERY well lit to help find food easily. If you don't buy this freezer you're making the wrong purchase!

Great Energy Efficiency

The primary selling point was the great energy efficiency (estimate of $40/year costs), lockable door and its ability to be used on a covered side porch. Since arrival it has worked like a dream and maintains a consistent internal temperature per your setting. Glad I brought it, already filled it up and use it daily!!

Hi, Heidi62071! I can imagine your concern with needing to defrost the appliance too often. To reduce excessive frost, be sure your door is getting a tight seal by checking the gasket. Also, try to reduce the number of times you must open and close the door, as warm air entering the freezer will cause condensation and frost.
