Great size and seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My chest freezer died so I decided to replace it with an upright. There are not many choices and they are all higher in price. Some people complained because it is NOT frost free. If you are putting up vegetables, fruit, and meats, the you MUST use a manual defrost. These cannot be stored in a frost free freezer. This freezer is a good size. The seal is very strong. I have to push and pull with two hands to get it open. The shelves are set at a good height for vegetables and meat. It does make it easier to find things in the freezer too. The door shelves are great. I can easily fit quart bags across this area. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Just the right size for two people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the freezer about a mouth ago and we wanted to put it in the basement but it did not fit we have small doors leading down stairs. So we put it in the garage looks good and works great. So far we are very happy with the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the up right freezer because it is easier to see what you have. With a chest, things just get buried. My only complaints is that the seal is so tight (tight seal is a great thing) that the whole freezer moves, sometimes when trying to open the door. It's a manageable issue, but that is the reason for deducting one star. I keep the freezer in the garage and even in Texas, it works well without drawing so much energy that the electric bill is impacted.
