Exceed My Expectations

This was a replacement freezer as the old had started to ice up on the doors and top of the freezer. This freezer is huge and very spacious!! Plenty of room for storage. The freezer suction on this door is super strong. You need both hands to open the door. This may change over time and once the freezer is full. One thing I thought was lacking was the number of shelves in the door. There should be at three more short shelves in the door to accommodate the size of the freezer otherwise it is a waste of good storage space. This is the only reason I gave it four stars.

I have had this since December 23, 2016. I love the color, the grey is beautiful. It is so loud, it sounds like a cement mixer rumbling around. I should have put it in the garage instead of the house. The door does not seal very well, if you don't push it closed really hard it does not seal and you will come back to find that your stuff is starting to thaw out. A stick propped up against the handle and wall keeps the door tightly closed. Lots of wasted space in the door. Needs more shelving there. Not happy with this appliance at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi DianaM. Please check the installation instructions on page 4 of the owner’s manual for tips on leveling the appliance. You can adjust the plastic leveling feet in front, ½ bubble higher, so that the door closes easily when left halfway open. Nice but not great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instruction book says to level with plastic feet but there are no feet on this unit. I had to level it with a piece of wood. The temperature control is located behind the food in the freezer. If you need to change the temperature, you will have to unload some of your frozen food. The light that indicates it is operating is located near the floor below the door and is difficult to see without bending down to check it--not the most convenient place for a light. It seems to run constantly even though we have it full and only open it every 3-4 days. Inside storage seems adequate. Outside is attractive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More interior shelf space then the images convey. The exterior is huge, more monolith in appearance then household appliance. Freezes food quickly. Its very quiet given its size, 20.5 cu ft. We're very pleased with it so far.
