Perfect size

We have had a variety of upright, chest, frost and frost free freezers over the last 40 years. Without question, this one is well made, perfectly sized, outstanding price and has an excellent reputation!

Great freezer.

This 17.5 CF freezer replaced a one week old Amana 24.5 CF freezer that didn't bring the temp colder than 34 degrees F. The new one goes to (-) 5 degrees F at the middle setting. The walls are thick. This freezer has a bright internal light when opened, a green external run light, nice color-coded internal dividers with air holes for the bottom of the freezer, a handy lid handle on top, and a manual drain. (The insulated lid could be an inch thicker to prevent loss of coolness.) The 17.5 CF size suits our needs well since we freeze our garden produce. We are very happy with this newly-designed freezer.

Ordered a freezer a size larger. Looks good and runs quietly. The baskets makes it easier to get to everything.

Great Product

I replaced an upright with this unit and it works much more efficiently. I was skeptical of getting another chest freezer as I didn't like digging around in it to try to find something. I love all the movable baskets and they make accessing items so much easier.

Lots of baskets included

I like the baskets for organizing smaller items. The only thing I miss from my old freezer is the alarm feature that told us it wasn't staying cold enough anymore (it was 28 years old). Hopefully this freezer lasts as long as the last one.

Great features and dependable brand

Our old freezer weent out of order with no warning. I have always liked Fridgidare and I did not have time or inclination to do any shopping around! I saww this model in the 1st store I shopped in, and loved the baske system. It allows me to keep up with my food and not have some buried on the bottom that's hard to reach.

This freezer is perfect for my restaurant! Really helps with extra storage of our frozen products. Nice and deep. Durable and not cheaply made.
