As with all the HP ink products, this particular ink cartridge is quality ink in a quality cartridge. Over the years I've owned several HP printers. For each, I've made a point of purchasing HP branded ink when ink replacement is needed. My main points of contention about this ink (and other HP branded cartridges I've bought) are cost and expiration.

Some things are worth saving a buck and accepting a bit less quality, but having tried no-name brands and dealing with compatibility issues, I just stick with the genuine products.
