Cant believe how amazing this appliance is. It seems so high-tech fancy, but its really simple to work with. Easy controls and amazing results. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

French door issues you should be aware of

I own the model RF4287HARS the designers did not make the door height adjustable on both sides. The hinges lack the ability to support heavy loads which Samsung themselves don't publish. I consider this a product defeat that goes back many years search the web and see if I'm miss leading you. Buyer beware.
Pros: Bright display, spacing and selves
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor french door hinges
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great unit, the only model I have found that has freezer shelves instead of usual buckets. The only suggestion I would have is to have a build-in paneled version available.
Pros: Bright display, freezer shelves
Cons: can not be paneled

Interior space not well designed. Very disappointed.

We like the look in our new kitchen and believe it will provide reliable service.
Negatives: We are not impressed with the overall layout of the interior. Small shelves in the doors are too narrow to be practical with no ability to adjust height. Shelves in refrigerator have no or limited adjustment capability. Sliding 1/2 shelves are not practical. This places taller items in front and virtually eliminates ability to reach stuff on the shelf behind without knocking over taller items in front or having to remove them. Larger shelves on the doors are ok, but again, no ability to adjust height. Our older, smaller refrigerators had more actual capacity.
Positives: Looks great. Interior well lighted. Water dispenser and ice maker working well so far. Bins in lower compartments are large and work well. Like the sliding top shelf in the combo side. Like the ability to change combo side to freezer, if needed. Very quiet. .
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only thing I don't like is the full chef drawer, it should be two drawers so you don't have to open both side of the refrigerator. Besides that I love it.

Hi , The look of the Chef series is beautiful . Other than that it is not made for a regular family that use condiments . There is not suffient door space for quick grabs . The door shelves are not sufficient for any real use . I am very disappionted . Thank goodness I have a second refrigerator that has wonderful door storage and storage period. Other than your refrigerator looking stylish it is of no real use to me . My husband is the one that fell inlove with this one . Not Practical for a famly that has children . Sorry but i think you need to rethink this design . Thank you ,

Huge, spacious Fridge with lots of extras

This thing is huge - it sticks out about 6" beyond our counters and is well laid out internally other than a few quirks. Has more features then we can even mention and is priced competitively in a market of overpriced and under featured units.
