CLEANING THE REFRIGERATOR Do not use benzene, thinner, Clorox, or car detergent to clean the refrigerator. They can damage the surface of the appliance and may cause a fire. Do not spray the refrigerator with water while it is plugged in. This can cause an electric shock. To clean the refrigerator, follow these steps: 1. Unplug the power cord of the refrigerator. 2. Slightly dampen a soft, lint-free cloth or paper towel with water. Do not use any kind of detergent to clean the refrigerator because that can discolor or damage the refrigerator. 3. Wipe the inside and outside of the refrigerator until it is clean and dry. 4. Plug the power cord of the refrigerator back in. This information can be found on pages 49 of the user manual. the samsung chef collection is a beautifully conceptually imagined refrigerator but unfortunately the execution of something as simple as the ice maker, water chilling ability and flex door takes this into an entry level refrigerator without an icemaker/water option.
we bought this in january 2017 and had our first issue with 8 month. the issues have been ongoing post the first repair to where we just have to breakdown and get another refrigerator. buyer beware and avoid this money pit!!!

Ice maker design flaw

although we enjoy the size and layout of our fridge, the ice maker has been a nightmare. it frequently ices over and we are knocking ice down once a week. then there is no ice. just had my bottom right compartment electronics fail, and it can no longer be a freezer. for the money we spent, i expect better quality. we will not buy samsung again.
