Picked up a Roku LT, then a Roku 3 after reviewing the reviews at HuluDeals .com. I love the price, and the basic stuff the roku lt does.. but it does not compare to the $99 roku 3 guys. Read the reviews for the roku 3 and you won't be dissapointed!

I found I was using this device more than cable and I realized why should I continue to pay for cable. There are so many channels and categories to pick from you don't need cable. I introduced this product to a friend of mine by bring it to their home and showing this person the features. The person gave me a look of happiness, but yet sad. Only words the person said, "I could have been saving money." The person disconnected their cable and brought the Roku. I will recommend to obtain a TV antenna to get local stations in your area.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Great Product, Attractive Design, Fast Setup

My only TV for a year now

This was suggested by my Netflix Customer Service rep and I have not regretted it. I cancelled Dish for NEtflix and Roku - my kids get their shows, I get mine through Amazon Instant via Roku. I have recommended this to everyone I know and had all that have tried it thank me. Am about to upgrade as this unit is dying, BUT it took a year of 24/7 with 3 kids to kill it. (It has been knocked around despite my best efforts, the cats knock it down to within the kids' reach, my autistic son got hold of it - it should have died a long time ago. This unit would probably last a lot longer in any other household, is worth it in ANY household)
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls

I have one of the original Roku's and I absolutely love it! I can't afford cable or satellite and this serves all of my entertainment needs! I would be lost without it!

Bought this player almost 2 yrs ago. I have been thrilled with its performance and ease of use. Have had an old tube set until now when I recently purchased a HD model instead. Am going to purchase the new Roku 3 model now. I just hope Roku continues to be the great innovator in the streaming field & surprises me with a new product even more wonderful in the near future. Thank you, Roku, for continuing to make my day EVERY day.

Perfect for cheap TV

This little box has allowed me to watch awesome TV for cheap. I use it mostly for Hulu and Netflix and it runs great. Paying for those two services monthly, plus the $50 price of the Roku is so affordable compared to cable and you get a pretty good selection of shows and movies, new and old. The Roku itself has never given me problems. I used to hook it up to the TV on my back porch and it worked even when it was outside in the heat and humidity. It's the best value out there and has so many apps to make it really so much better than paid TV.
