Can't Live Without It!!

I hardly watch standard TV anymore now that I have this little box. Aside from the most popular channels like Hulu and Netflix their is also a huge library of other channels to choose from. I could watch a movie every night for 5 years without running out of content. I've read reviews of every other box on the market but Roku remains the best of the bunch. I advise that you purchase the Roku that has the ethernet port unless you have an excellent wireless connection with fast download speeds. My only issue with this box has been the wireless signal although this is not primarily the boxes fault. If you have multiple people using internet in your house or your placing this Roku very far away from the router; the Roku with the ethernet port is definitely the way to go. Aside from that issue I love the Roku and would never use any other streaming player. Excellent product!

What I like most about the Roku is that it is always on and ready to play. No waiting; no going back to choose if you are in the middle of a series. I have the original Roku and love it. I am getting the Roku1 so I can have 1080 HD and I just hope it is a perfect as the original. I would have lived with the original longer, but I like to have the closed caption which is not available on it. Thanks for the great product. I hated watching netflix through my bluRay player.

Best Choice I Ever Made!

I love this thing. I used it to replace a Comcast Cable TV service, and I have very little to say about it negatively. The letter input via 4-direction and "OK" is a little annoying, and there seems to be no live TV, and some channels just load forever...but that's not much compared to some things: customer service is live and amazingly helpful. I have a lot of TV shows and movies I watch both on Netflix and through PLEX service from my computer. I was paying a WHOLE lot of money for a service I used only half the year, and now I pay a bit more to have phone service! I use it all year round, unlike cable. I use the Roku box all the time, and I honestly love the size and the weight - I can bring it with me when I go somewhere, say over the weekend or on vacation to visit family and friends. My only real complaint here is that there is no way to get LIVE TV...not even the basic channels.

This product would run better if I could finish watching a show. It will not retrieve itself after a commercial.

I'm in Love...

I watch many BBC mysteries, love them, The remote is very easy to use also. My only wish was to have a headphone but I didn't have the funds at this time to buy the more expense Roku. So for me that was the only thing not so great about it.

Cons: It Was All Positive, I have no cons
