I got my Roku as a birthday gift last year (September) and it is still going strong. I use it for Netflix, Pandora and my own movies through Plex and MyMedia (depending which computer I want to use). I have it on the tv in my bedroom and that way I can watch all my shows when football is on in the living room! I would definitely buy another one I love it!

best bang for the bucks

it works fine now that i got help to log on, i like the ease of using it, but the book left me in a fog so i had to call customer service...

Better than Broadcast!

I have a Netflix subscription, and with my Roku box I no-longer have to watch annoying commercials! I used to use a Myth-TV player before the Roku box, but it was a noisy big power hog box, and lots of trouble to maintain. With the Roku box it is silent, small, convenient, and more powerful than my Myth-TV player, and avoiding commercials is even easier with my Roku box, because Netflix already has no commercials. Love this device.

I had stopped usiing my tv. Watched everything on the laptop. Now thanks to the roku i watch netflix and my own movies via plex. To be honest i didnt know the hd tv was that good. But i watched a super hd movie on netflix. And realised this was what i bought the tv for. Roku has added to my entertainment enjoyment. And given me back a tv that had become obsolete.

I love my ROKU players. I purchased my 1st a few years ago. I bought 2 more recently, about a month ago, a 2x and a 3. I like all of them very much. (Don't take my ROKU away from me.) I even did away with cable TV which saved me about $80.00 a month. Very, very good prices. Cannot beat it. My only wish or improvement I would like to see is to have a zoom feature. That would be great.
