The product is easy to setup and use and combines all the services we now have like Netflix, amazon, ... into one source for efficient selection of material. Like the availability of other apps like foreign news and physical training. Very useful household item.

I have used this Roku for over a year. I ran it on a slow speed connection and got great results. I recently upgraded to a high speed connection and the result is: Excellent.

Access to cable shows

I've been using Roku for a year and half since I "cut the cable" and I've never looked back. I think some of the negative reviews might be from folks who try private channels which are blinky, I've had few problems with the channels I chose and I love having access to my favorite Comedy Central shows as well as others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I upgraded 2 streaming boxes to Roku in the last 6 months and I am going to get a third player for my daughters room

Super and Amazing Box

I purchased my first Roku box about a year ago, installation was very easy indeed. I would warn potential buyers however to make sure that you have a good WiFi signal available at all potential locations. My original router died, and I purchased a new router. The old unit was rated at 50MBS, the new at 300MBS. What a difference! I was very happy with the first unit, so I purchased a second Roku. I also included a "Range Extender", and now have the two working very well. Picture quality is excellent, much better than the two satellite sources. I would really recommend this setup to any one who likes to watch movies. I use Netflix, and Acorn, both give excellent quality video and sound. The free channels are also good, with minimal advertizing. There is a very wide choice of programming. I was taken back at the very small size of the Roku, it is so portable that you can move it around very easily. A very good purchase, highly recommended.
