I Love my 2 ROKU HDMI players,I bought them in hopes of one day canceling my Cable TV down to basic,it keeps going up every month now.Easy to pick and add the channels I choose.Some movies still play with the black boxes at top and bottom of my screen tho.THAT I'm disappointed at,I realy wish all the New Movies were shown in full screen.I was tired of hooking my PC up to my TV.The sound is GREAT now.So happy I took the jump and bought ROKU instead of the other brands.Thanks Gang. :)

Have had some software connection issues but so far live chat has handled.

Teriffic tool to watch a variety of movies!!

I have been spending many hours of watching movies on Netflix primarily. For the most part I like the remote and the option to listen through the "ear piece!" I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE REMOTE...........I HAVE TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES QUITE FREQUENTLY!!

Cable for $$$$$$ ? Never again!

I have had my Roku for approximately 2 yrs and am thrilled. I recomend it to everyone. There is a channel called Plex you can add which allows you to stream media files from your computer to the roku. I have tons of series and movies that I watch using Plex. Pretty much anything I want to watch. there is so much more content than on cable and i can watch it anytime I want. I have never been a "7pm on Wednesday is my fav show so don't bother me" kinda gal. I love that I can pause everything I watch and talk to my kids. No "Shhh, my show is on". And most series on Netflix have complete seasons, unlike on demand. So why, why, why would i pay the ridiculous, continually escalating cost with bills you have to be a codebreaker to understand that cable requires. The cost of my internet/phone/tv is now less than a third of when I had cable. And it's so user friendly that even non-tech-savvies can use it with ease. I have talked so many people into getting a roku that the company should give me stock! And everyone is so happy.
