Bad experience

after 6 months of use, the ice maker kept freezing up and causing problems, every time a mechanic came to help they would just switch out the ice maker and the problem would be back within months. another problem i had was it came with broken shelves which needed to be replaced. now i'm stuck with a broken ice maker that keeps freezing over no matter what. this is completely unacceptable for a product that is supposed to last for years.

Absolute Junk

absolute junk, the water dispenser is dispensing warm water even though the reservoir is located in the refrigerator. on a hot day the freezer does not freeze and temp on the freezer needs to be turned up, when the weather cools down the low freezer temps cause the fan to freeze over and stop working causing the freezer to heat up again. all the problems occured a few days after warranty expired and samsung wants to charge $150 just to send a tech out to look at it. samsung...never again

Ice maker doesnt work

the ice maker stopped working years ago. weve tried fixing it and have gotten nowhere. it is about 5 years old and stopped making ice about 3 years ago. weve gotten to the point of buying bagged ice and are contemplating purchasing a different refrigerator. very disappointing.

Avoid Samsung refrigerators and washing machines

after only 4.5 years of service, the frigerator cooling has failed. i looked online and there are many others having the same problem, which is a design problem. it appears that samsung rushed into the appliance business and they designed appliances that have the very same problems that refrigerators had 50 years ago. evaporator fans icing up, thermostats failing, inaccurate thermistors, things like that. unfortunately, you don't know which part is broken, so you must replace several parts each time you have a cooling problem and you call a technician. if you fix it yourself, you can replace one part at a time, but you may end up spending several hours on such a project.

DO NOT BUY: Looks nice, needs a lot of service

i strongly recommend not buying this fridge.
first, the good stuff. the fridge looks nice. the water dispenser and ice dispenser are pretty reliable and put out nice water.
however this fridge needs so much service, it's crazy. in 8 years, it had issues twice where it just stopped cooling. that's crazy unreliable. and what's worse, repairing the fridge costs 3x any other brand. samsung's reputation here is pretty bad (just search around) and i do not plan on buying a samsung fridge ever again until they get their act together.

Sudden Death of my refrigerator

Our refrigerator ( RS25H5111SR/AA ) ONLY 7 years , STOP working suddenly without any issues before that. Now it only has a blinking white light under the panel of the ice maker and water. It was a wonderful refrigerator before that, always cold and freezed everything perfectly. That is why I rated 3 stars, cause it was a sudden death of my refrigerator. Don't know if it's still covered under warranty if only is 7 years old. I try to add a video but for some reason your optional add images and video doesn't work

Be prepared to replace

Refrigerator is in a vacation residence and has been off most of it's life. Ice maker is broken.. among other things. A new refrigerator should last longer than a few years. Hate to say it; but, with quality like this... stay away from all Samsung products.
