This unit is horrible. The ice maker is a particular problem. It has stopped working once or twice a week since we owned it. Each time we need to go through an annoying reset where you need to be a contortionist to reach the button then hold for 30 seconds......
What a waste of money. I'll never purchase another samsung product. Not sure why consumer reports rated so highly?
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Best Refrigerator for your money no doubt..

The 5111SR is the one to look for when you are shopping for a refrigerator. It has great features plus it's really quite after the ice maker bin fill up. If your power goes out in the house it will start back up when the power comes back on to the last setting, some reviews people are saying that the refrigerator goes into demo mode,Not With This Model. My power went off for 1 hour and when the power came back up the refrigerator started back up cooling back to where it left off at.I am just a regular unpaid purchaser saying you can't go wrong buying this Samsung product.....
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable

I bought this refrigerator nov 2014 and now march 2016 its now cooling anymore.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations

Failure of Water

For the first 4 hours after delivery all was good. Then the water stopped working and the ice maker stopped working. We could not switch from one feature to another. We just had a replacement delivered today. Let's see how it performs.
Cons: Poor quality

Samsung Side by Side is awesome

Finally I own a beautiful stainless steel fridge. The side by side is fantastic with slide out shelves & lighting that puts Las Vegas to shame. The Ice dispenser makes crushed or cube ice. The water is chilled & filtered to taste like spring mountain water. All the settings are digital display just above the water & ice server. It even indicates freezer & fridge temp settings, also displays when you need a new water filter. There are four drawers for veggies, cold cuts & plenty of room. The Freezer side is
equipped with pull out beautiful glass shelves & two deep slide out drawers.
Most important it is VERY QUIET. I never hear the fridge motor or fan running. The only noise is when the ice maker drops a load of cubes to keep your removable container full.
It is so economical my electric bill is much lower since using this new Samsung Fridge.
