I bought this model as it appeared to have many options for loading dishes on a daily basis. It has met all our expectations except one:
This would be a 5 star review except for the following:
The design of the method of the lower, main racks connection to the interior of the washer is poorly designed. It allows the tray to slip off the interior too easily, especially when loaded with dishes. This makes it extremely difficult to roll the rack in place without dishes dislodging from their positions.
We have difficulty loading and rolling it into place 4 out of times we attempt to close the washer.
I bought this a few months ago and have been less than satisfied with it. It runs forever, the bottom rack falls off the track constantly with or without dishes, the utensil rack falls apart constantly, the blue plastic adjustable pieces keep breaking and it is not easy getting replacement parts. The third shelf is useless and is a total wast of space. From what I understand it is discontinued and for good reason. This was really an expensive experiment. I will go back to my previous brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow, beats the daylights out of Bosch!

Installed easy. It's quiet; really quiet. The first time I ran it there was a lot of daylight around and I couldn't quite see that the indicator light was on... it was so quiet that I thought it wasn't working at first.
The adjustable racks allow us to place large items in the bottom. One of our relatives has a new Bosch which has a less-deep rack and the tines are too close. We like being able to drop the tines on the LP as needed to accommodate pots and pans. The ability to run 1/2 loads is convenient and the filter is easy to uninstall, clean, and replace for periodic maintenance. We previously had a Fischer & Paykel that was a real pain to maintain.
The only issue we have relates to the lower pullout, which is easy to pull off track. Otherwise - perfect!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, quiet

Best Dishwaher Ever

I bought this dishwasher in July 2015. I hesitated giving a review for several months, until I felt I had given this dishwasher a fair chance and lots of use. I read the other reviews before buying this dishwasher. I felt a little hesitation about this dishwasher, but purchased it anyway. I am so glad I made this purchase! I think the other dis-satisfied reviewers must fall into the category, “cannot be pleased!” This is the quietest dishwasher, I have ever owned. It cleans the dishes better than any other dishwasher I have ever had and I have had some big name brand dishwashers! I am very pleased with this dishwasher and would recommend it to everyone!

Love our new LG dishwasher!

This is a definite upgrade in our kitchen after our very old dishwasher started leaking. SO many different cycles to choose from depending on your load qty & soil level. Extremely quiet & attractive design. I really like the 3rd & top smaller rack for all the tiny different & fragile items like re-useable popsicle sticks for instance. The cute little chime/ song when the load is finished is a charmer as well!
We were a bit hesitant to purchase based upon other reviews but so far the dishwasher has exceeded our expectations. The racks are well designed, and it cleans dishes really, really well. We use rinse aid and have water heater set to 125F and the dishes dry perfectly every time. There is an 'electronic' smell but i have noticed this on an electric powerwasher i bought too so I think it is the pump. It isnt bad and goes away quickly. Yes, the dishwasher does take a while to clean, but we run it over night and it doesn't bother us. It is SO quiet! We have also seen considerable savings in our water and electric bills too so this unit will pay for itself in no time.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

Love this dishwasher

Absolutely agree that this dishwasher is so quiet you have to see the blue light flashing to know it is running. Having the third rack allows me to get the knives out of the silverware basket and in a place I feel is safe. I also lay long cooking spoons and spatulas in the third rack and free up space on the lower racks that can be used for glasses and dishes. With what I consider normal rinsing, dishes come out spotless every time.
While I like having the adjustable tines so I can change configurations of the bottom and middle rack, my only complaint is that the tines do not stay in place once they are changed.
When we compared this dishwasher with others at the store, I was impressed with how sturdy the door was on this model. The doors on other brands were often so flimsy they twisted with the slightest pressure.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
