Very Nice, Clean, and Quiet...but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this brand new dishwasher and love everything about it. Its very good at doing its job, is great at organizing all the dirty dishware inside the dishwasher. The only reason why this is not a 5-Star review is because after installing the dishwasher, there was a small leak due to a screw inside the faceplate that forced water to leak out of the side. LG was very quick to get a repairman out here to fix the issue, and now it works as you would expect it too. Great job by LG to get everything taken care of as quickly as they did, and still a great product!
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy I purchased this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a package of LG appliances last month. Before purchasing I read a number of reviews and so many were negative. I had all my appliances professionally installed by the appliance dealer; the dishwasher was hooked up correctly, was in correct balance. I am impressed with customer service access, the warranty of the manufacturer. I also purchased an extended warranty. I used the dishwasher for the first time a couple of days ago. I could not believe how quietly ti operates. I had talks with customer service during the operation of the dishwasher to explain what I was seeing on the panel during the cycle running. They couldn't have been more helpful, clarified my questions.
With the help of Customer Service it became easy to use as initially I was so not clear as to how all of the panels operated and what the symbols meant.
This model, 7774, exceeds my expectations: it is extremely quiet; it drys the dishes completely; the soap dispenser emptied as it should; and it drains properly - much to my relief - because of the negative reviews that talked about these particular issues.
I am not totally nuts about those collapse-able tings or plate supports and think they are a bit flimsy but the dishwasher itself is great so far in this short use time.
I look forward to years of service from this appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a few months ago thinking is was top of the line. I have difficulty fitting things into it. I do not find the placement of the tines that hold up dishes to be in the right place. Dishes and bowls seems to fall over and not stand up straight. Also the tines fall over very easily when I'm trying to adjust them to hold said plates and bowls. The upper rack also does not hold cups up straight. First glasses in are always falling over, I need to place a second glass/cup to help hold it up. My sister in law had a similar dishwasher and hated it enough to buy another one after a year. That being said it does clean well. That is why I give it only an average.

Nice and Quiet BUT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting to get a new dishwasher for 2 years, so I could have a normal conversation in the kitchen or watch a TV show without turning the volume up to a ridiculous level. I have been pleased with the low decibel level BUT we are still struggling to find an adequate cleaning setting. I have found that I was so set on quiet that I forgot, that means less water and in addition to the fact that we have hard water, it has been a challenge to get all the dishes clean even with a booster and additional rinse. The additional top (3rd) Rack has also been a disappointment in getting the silverware clean, again even with a change in the stronger spray setting.
I think if there is one thing I would like to see in the future of dishwashers is a memory system to save your most often used settings, so you didn't have to set it every time you start a load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst dishwasher I ever had! Started with bottom rack going off the rails repeatedly, then overall poor quality of cleaning. Tech out twice. Suggestions for better performance a JOKE! Rinse some dishes, others not so much, needs grease on dishes to perform well..but not too much... blah blah blah. Wanted my money back--to way for that. Now I am stuck with an expensive dishwasher that I am very unhappy with! Do not buy this dishwasher.

Clean?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have it for awhile installed about 4-5 weeks. The soap packet isn't cleaned out. I do not believe the water pressure is enough to do the job.

the dividers don't stay in place, the quality of the is mediocre and the my dishes do not come clean -- and the time it takes to do a load is ridiculous!
