Love this Dishwasher

I began casually shopping for a new dishwasher about a year ago...saw LG and immediately loved them ...so many priorities ahead of this purchase...but finally it was time to replace my old dishwasher...researched all the brands...read reviews and looked at many models.....every comparison led us back to LG....here are some of my favorite features: overall look is sleek, stainless steel interior, third rack, flexible rack configurations, quietness, ease of operation....the concerns that others have mentioned in reviews didn't seem to materialize...dishes look amazing and clean, no spotting on glasses, dishes mostly dry at end of cycle....thanks for a great dishwasher!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Great Dishwasher for the money

purchased this dishwasher for a second home. This dishwasher is easy to load, easy to use, has more features then you could imagine! Great Value for the price, on par with high end very expensive brands!

We bought this dishwasher as part of the rebate package, this is definately not impressed. I have read the directions, so it is not the user. The dishwasher does not dry well at all (old one still works better). Too low to the ground. The middle rack, does not have normal positions for normal dishes. Good points very quiet, good features, stylish, and child lock.
Pros: quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best dishwasher we've ever owned

We've had this for about a month and could not be more satisfied. It is quiet, and it cleans and dries all our dishes, pans, utensils etc far better than any dishwasher we've ever owned. The adjustable middle rack and the third rack are great innovations that we use frequently.
The hidden controls and sleek look only add to our satisfaction.

Amazingly quiet

This unit is amazingly quiet. It has an interior design that easily allows manipulation to accommodate different loads of dishes or pots and pans. has adjustable middle pull out drawer and a third drawer on top. Even with a full load it cleans everything spotless.

First off love how quite it is. Depending on house hold noise like TV, talking, etc you don't know it's on. Sometimes I forget it's running until I hear the water draining out through the sink. Cleans great and love the third rack on the top. About the only thing is the hybrid drying system. It does a great job on everything but plastic. If you do the extra dry option then they come out pretty much dry but it adds and extra hour to the wash. Usually not that bad since we either have almost no plastic or mostly plastic. Overall very happy with it but it is a little pricey.

This dishwasher broke in less than 2 months.

This dishwasher looks wonderful, but has lots of cons. From day one it smelt moldy inside. It had moisture inside before we hooked up the water and it never dried out unless the door was left open. You can't use the buttons very well since they are on top and our countertop is not flush with the cabinet. I guess its too new of a style for our 1980s home. Looking online, LGs fancy dishwasher seem to have lots of issues and the only solutions is turn off the circuit breaker or call your LG warranty/service dept.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
