[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the LG dishwasher for 3 months and couldn't be happier. It has lots of room for just about anything. It cleans stuck on food. It is very quiet. The third rack is more useful than I thought it would be. My only problem is it is difficult to see the words on the buttons and I have to turn on a side light. The plates do fall forward but I think they get a better clean that way. I like the slant to the middle rack so the water drains off of the cups, etc. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this for about a month, got it while updating our kitchen. The black stainless steel is beautiful with our granite countertops. Love the 3rd rack for all those small pieces that just don't fit anywhere else. Although it does not have a heated dry cycle all of the dishes have come out looking very clean and dry. I love that it has a countdown to when the cycle will be completed and it is very quiet overall.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher a year ago. in 34 years this is the worst dishwasher we have purchased. The bottom rack falls of track all the time and never cleans the dishes even after pre-wash by hand and trying several dishwashing products . Glasses are cloudy . Very Disappointed !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 6 months ago and don't have any problems with it's performance and with it's many cycle selections I can choose what is appropriate for my specific load. Many of the bad reviews list problems where the solution is actually in the owners manual. To get a good energy rating or an Energy Star rating, a heater can't be used for the drying of the dishes. Using hot water and the built in heater during the rinse cycle gets the dishes hot so when it dries it circulates the hot moist air with a fan through a chamber and the moisture condenses and is drained. Rinse aid is required to sheet the water into a thin layer on the dishes making drying easier. However the dishes that are easiest to dry are the ones that are dense like metal, glass and ceramic because they hold heat and allow the water to completely or almost completely evaporate. Plastic dishes don't hold much heat so are seldom completely dry. If you wish, you can try the sanitize cycle where the water gets much hotter and see if that helps with your drying. Also note, try to never open the door when it's in the drying cycle. You will let out much of the heat that is required for drying. If you do open the door, it is most likely your dishes will not dry at all. As far as leaving a film, you must realize that the dishwasher doesn't come with whatever is coating your dishes as part of the machine but it's what you or your water is adding to the machine. This is where you need to read the manual and adjust your rinse aid settings. Since most soaps now come in a packet with rinse aid you may need to start with setting the machine to it's lowest rinse aid setting first. Getting the lower rack to go in can sometimes be difficult but whatever you do don't force it. If you bend a wheel it will be difficult almost every time you try to push it in. Remember the lower rack is trying to bridge the gap between the door and the cabinet. If they put it on rails to prevent this you would not be able to remove the bottom rack. Knowing what to expect from this machine will allow you to enjoy it and appreciate it. As I said, most bad reviews listed have the answers listed in the owners manual which makes me believe they are not reading the manuals and then jump on sites to complain. Appliances are getting more sophisticated and technical and are no longer intuitive and reading the manual is becoming necessary just as many of the items we now purchase. Try buying a different brand of Smart Phone than the one you currently have and try to operate it without reading any of the instructions and see how that works out for you.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
